If I tell you some podcasts I've liked, could anyone recommend more that are similar please?

I love podcasts but only of a certain genre. The criteria is:

• a true story
• that builds over the episodes rather than one story each episode
• not too grisly
• and that preferably reaches a conclusion (have listened to a few mystery type ones recently that are just frustrating because there's just endless speculation and no answers)

Some I have really liked are:

• last man standing
• I am not a monster
• the fake heiress
• the dropout
• dr death
• flight 149
• Tiffany Dover is dead
• wind of change.

Does anyone have any suggestions that fit the above please?

Thought of another one - Black Hands - very interesting case set in New Zealand.

If you like spookiness, The Battersea Poltergeist (about the famous haunting in the 50s). On BBC Sounds.

Missing Richard Simmons was good.

"Welcome to your fantasy" is excellent. All about the men who set up and owned the chippendales and eventually went to war with each other. Properly gripping and also cool to hear all the behind the scenes stories of what it was like to be part of that whole scene.

Fake Psychic

Fairy Meadow, it's about the abduction of a 3yr old in Australia. Really interesting and quite sad.

What a great thread! I've just listened to my first ever true crime, Sweet Bobby, and thought it was excellent. I wouldn't like one that didn't have a conclusion though either. So I've made a list from this thread. Thank you!

I’m on about episode 14 and it’s the best podcast ever.

I'm currently listening to no strings attached the story where a husband cuts his wife's parachute to kill her but she survived the fall.
What I'm really enjoying is that's it's English spoken by Robert Murphy . I'm a bit jaded with the American / Ausie slow drawweelll

It’s been mentioned in passing before but I listen to a lot of these - and Down the Hill really stayed with me.
