My ds2 applied to the army in March 2021, due to various fuck ups by crapita he is still being processed. Last time (not the first) he went to the assessment centre, he was unable to do the fitness test due to not having had a sickle cell blood test first.

He had the blood taken by them in May this year and is still waiting for the results to be processed.
The whole process is a joke and as someone who grew up in the military I'm amazed at the incompetence that's been shown.

I wouldn't expect the army to be mobilising any time soon.

As we all know private companies are so much less efficient than the public sector and cost more.

I would go to my MP but as she currently has her head firmly up Sunaks ass, having been removed from Johnsons, and is a tory who doesn't engage with voters there is very little point.

And it still won't compensate for the rise in the cost of living. Is it OK that yet more people will be pushed into food poverty?

It's quite worrying if the best person the Conservatives have got for the job is someone who thinks it's appropriate to appoint a known perpetrator of sexual assaults to a position of power over junior MPs and party officials. Especially when he is then very slow to deprive that person of the whip, and keeps sending out ministers to tell different and inconsistent lies about it. Do you think that's OK, @JaniieJones?

She cracked me up when she said she thinks the only reason Truss is going for the job is that secretly she never left the Lib Dems and is secretly campaigning for them to get back in.

BBC R4 led on lack of Dentists in the UK, talked about how Brexit led to 1000s of EU dentist leaving the UK.

I wonder if lack of NHS dentistry will effect Truss, let alone Sunak? or what they intend to do about it.

Soon we will all be toothless , but that's ok because we won't be able to afford food soon anyway ( or just freeze over the winter )
Our young can only do degrees that the government feel will benefit them even though many jobs now need a degree to get a foot in the door. It just gets grimmer by the day

My MP is boasting the about the £550 people, not on UC will get... i reminded her she will get £1800 p.a if Truss reverses NI increase, where as someone on 20k will get around £100.

I wonder whether Trusses regional pay boards idea would have applied to MPs pay too, bet that was the real reason it was withdrawn.

Gordon Brown wasn't always right. He made mistakes , same as Richi Sunak did recently too ( 9 billion he lost as chancellor , only recently too, covid measures write offs etc)
