My vibrator has disappeared…

Ummmwhereisit · 04/03/2022 14:47

Name changed for this because vibrators.

I’m home alone and was about to indulge in a spot of alone time before having a quick nap.

My vibrator is not in the hidden box in my bedside drawer as usual. I have absolutely no idea where it is. I’ve searched my partners bedside drawer and it’s not there either. I use it infrequently so can’t recall when I had it last but I’m 99.99% certain it will have gone back in the box that it always does… it’s an old box for something unrelated, think iPhone type, with an insert in and the vibrator sits neatly underneath so even if someone were to open the drawer and get as far as opening the box they wouldn’t necessarily know it was there. Obviously partner knew.

We had a few days away last week and both the cleaner and my parents had keys for the house. I was away last night and am not long home.

Where the fuck is it and who the fuck has moved it?

Maybe your husband fell on it and he's in a & e

Or B&Q - in the long-handled pliers section.

Owl55 · 05/03/2022 20:07

Has your husband borrowed it for a “friend”?

Ummmwhereisit · 05/03/2022 20:10

I’m really paranoid about it and as I say a bit prudish so I I can say with some degree of certainty that I would have put it back in it’s usual place.

I’m thinking now one of the kids judging by what everyone else has said. But that’s so grim I just can’t process it.

When I was training to be a teacher a year 5 girl brought her mum’s into school.

Bbbwx · 05/03/2022 20:13

Dying to know the outcome…

VinylCafe · 05/03/2022 20:14

When you came home, who was in the house? If one of the DCs took it and you coming home surprised them, they might have shoved it in the nearest container they could find.

chaosmaker · 05/03/2022 20:22

Eeew!

NNo offence, but I don't care who you are, how clean you are or how thoroughly you clean your vibrator - I wouldn't want to use anyone else's "personal toy".

Are you too young to remember when smear tests were done with metal speculums that were (hopefully) washed in between patients?

Tantric · 05/03/2022 20:44

Get the salad tongs from the kitchen......

clynneand · 05/03/2022 20:45

I couldn’t finish everyone’s comments. I’m SORRY. Feeling your trust has been violated is awful. I guess the obvious focus is the kids? If your in-laws took it - I think we all think F them. But not trusting your husband or your children questioning …. That matters. Good luck! Always here to help. Sorry you are going through this. Xxx

Boobaloob · 05/03/2022 20:50

Haha this is funny

TheBigPeach · 05/03/2022 20:52

The mention of your cleaner has made me think of that movie with Jennifer Aniston where she cleans peoples houses and one client she goes to she has some ME time with the woman’s vibrator 🤢

StarlightLady · 05/03/2022 20:58

OP, l’m pleased it has been found. For the future, you need another one in a glass case on the wall marked “in case of emergency, break glass.

On a more serious note, every woman should own at least one (allegedly they outsell washing machines) and it is nothing to feel uneasy about in the scheme of things.

User name not changed and a very regular proud vibey own and user. Enjoy the buzz!

Hebditch · 05/03/2022 21:09

@StarlightLady I don’t think it has been found....but we are all on tenterhooks

Indigoo03 · 05/03/2022 21:11

It has been found, rejoice rejoice.

Hebditch · 05/03/2022 21:14

@Indigoo03 it hasn’t!! Mystery mystery...

pupcakes · 05/03/2022 21:17

@Hebditch it has Grin but in the wrong place

Hebditch · 05/03/2022 21:22

The OP said that she is paranoid because she would have put it back in the usual place- not that it has been found...

Legoninjago1 · 05/03/2022 21:26

Having just come from a Putin thread I really needed this one! I really need to know where it is so please keep posting !

Legoninjago1 · 05/03/2022 21:28

Oh! Oh God! Yeah. Eek 😬😂

Sharnydubs · 05/03/2022 21:36

I'd never own one just for the potential of embarrassing scenarios like the ones mentioned here. We have a dog and too many stories out there about dogs dumping them at the feet of MIL, the boss, the vicar etc, wanting to "play"

lydia2021 · 05/03/2022 21:39

My teen d and friend stole mine. Was more angry that they had invaded my private bedroom

SenseFromThoughtDivide · 05/03/2022 21:39

Ifyiu are unhappy about boundaries then Can I suggest a motion activated camera in the same drawer as anything ‘sensitive’ ? Then you’ll know exactly who has access

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 05/03/2022 21:39

It has been found @Hebditch, it’s in one of the OP’s earlier posts

Grasping · 05/03/2022 21:42

I’ve never had one
Never felt the need tbh

TibetanTerrah · 05/03/2022 21:45

Has no one mentioned the sex and the city episode where Miranda's 'goody drawer' was emptied by the cleaner and replaced with a bible and a little statue of the virgin mary Grin
