I’m trying a really odd diet and hope it works

So, with the lockdown and stress and being with DH, I slowly started eating more sugar and bread. And wine.

I feel I could do with losing 3 kgs and detoxing my body. But I have no motivation to diet. I really don’t.

I couldn’t keep up with 16:8, 5:2 or calorie counting.

So I did a random search on the net hoping for a miracle, easy solution.

And I found this somewhat wacky diet I am trying out. I’m only in the second day. Five more to go!

First day was unlimited fruit (but only one variety). I slipped up in the morning and had a croissant and a sweet. But then stuck with watermelon all day. And took a brisk walk.

Today is veg in any form. Had tomato soup and beetroot salad. I’m feeling a tiny bit hungry. But much better than yesterday.

I feel less foggy and bloated. I can’t wait for tomorrow when I can have fruit And veg (except for potatoes and bananas). 😃

I read the start of your thread incorrectly and thought you were trying to tell us you had lost weight on a diet of sugar, bread and wine. Imagining sugar sandwiches and all sorts 🙈

Thank you Seesaw! And everyone else for your kind words.

I’m having some coffee and a thin slice of spelt toast and a boiled egg for breakfast today. I’m not really hungry. I wonder if my tummy has shrunk ShockGrin

I have just read this whole thread to try to find out if a person has access to unlimited eggs how man would they eat? 2, 4, 6, 24? I really need to know

Gorgeouslilgirl · 30/06/2021 10:44

I had 3 eggs 😊 but I had just had my vaccinations and was a bit queasy.

There was a fella I know who used to have 6 boiled eggs a day for breakfast Shock. Everyday!

Are you working OP?
How are you managing this diet and working?!

Gorgeouslilgirl · 30/06/2021 14:48

Yes, I’m working. It is an easy diet, doesn’t require much cooking or prep at all. Far less than my normal routine.
