user2021 · 05/03/2021 20:17

Just having a gander on Rightmove and was curious about my area.

Most expensive property currently for sale:
£21,995,000

(Yes, £21million!)

Cheapest currently for sale:
£190,000

There were a couple cheaper but were listed as shared ownership.

I'm in London.

OP posts:
CoffeeRunner · 05/03/2021 22:19

£179,950 for a two bed shoebox new build terrace.

£850,000 for a 5 bed detached period cottage.

This is my village rather than my postcode as there is nothing for sale in my road!

JackieakaBritney · 05/03/2021 22:19

Highest 1.5m
Lowest £69,950 (retirement flat)

Jody21 · 05/03/2021 22:19

I'm shit at clicky links so don't know if this will work but most expensive and cheapest properties locally are:

www.propertypal.com/the-beach-house-doonin-kilcar-donegal/342234
www.propertypal.com/cuskry-glebe-kilcar-donegal/450013

FeelinSpendy · 05/03/2021 22:20

@SurreyMumOfOne and @Lobster2018 You must both be near me. Cheapest £115,000 for a retirement flat, £22,490,000 for the most expensive but at least it has two independent staff flats!

LBOCS2 · 05/03/2021 22:21

5 bed detached - £1,950,000

Vs

Studio flat - £150,000.

FelicityBeedle · 05/03/2021 22:24

Northwest (1st part of postcode)
Most expensive 445000 not too far from me (mine is rented and work roughly 1/4 of that
Least expensive 15000 (auction) or 40000- quite nice flat

MildredPuppy · 05/03/2021 22:26

Cheapest is 200k for a studio appartment
Most expensive is 1.2million for a 4 bed detached.
South east

perhapstomorrow · 05/03/2021 22:29

£3m for land with planning permission for 22 flats(used to be 2 semi's) followed by £2.9 for 5 bed detached house on private estate.

£110k for 1 bed flat

SquizzaMama · 05/03/2021 22:32

First part of my postcode used. I’m in a little village in South Bucks.

Highest: 10M - 10 bed detached with equestrian centre / paddocks etc.

Lowest: £260k for a 1 bed retirement flat / £540k for a 3 bed terrace

CoffeeRunner · 05/03/2021 22:35

And using just the first part of my postcode which picks up nearby areas;

2 bed flat in a block - £135,000.
5 bed equestrian property - £1,195,000.

HalfShrunkMoreToGo · 05/03/2021 22:35

Within 1 mile of my house.

Most expensive - 6 bed detached house £380,000
Least expensive - 1 bed flat £95,000

IndecentFeminist · 05/03/2021 22:35

Nothing in my actual postcode. But in first section of postcode £3 mill for 4 bed townhouse on seafront. £45k for.1 bed chalet on ex holiday camp site.

bubblebubblebubbletrouble · 05/03/2021 22:37

In my full postcode there's only 1 2 bed apartment for sale for £325k.
Within 1/4 mile highest is OIEO £600k for a 3 bed townhouse, £235k for 1 bed flat.

Namechangeforthewin · 05/03/2021 22:41

Most expensive 420,000 for a 13 bed house and cheapest is 1 bed bungalow for 50,000

Whattheduck · 05/03/2021 22:43

In my post code
Lowest is £330,000 3 bed semi
Highest £625,000 5 bed detached

LizB62A · 05/03/2021 22:45

There's only 18 houses in my postcode: I'd guess at £550k for the 3 beds (semis) as two have sold for nearly that in the last 2 years, probably £850k for the 4 beds (detached).

Walk around the corner and the houses have bigger gardens (even though it's a busy road used as a cut through) so prices jump to £1m+ for 4 beds

Twistiesandshout · 05/03/2021 22:46

In my immediate area
Most, a 4 bed at £3.7m
Least, a garage at £80k

ChocOrange1 · 05/03/2021 22:48

Within 1/4 mile of my house.

Most expensive 675k for a large detached 4 bedroom house with a big garden.

Cheapest 105k for a studio flat

BikeRunSki · 05/03/2021 22:50

£2.9M - 6 bedrooms, 22 acres of land
£92k - 1 bed flat

rainbowninja · 05/03/2021 22:55

Well that was an education! 3 million for a 7 bed detached and 70k for a 2 bed flat with some dodgy looking scuffs on the bathroom floor

FunnysInLaJardin · 05/03/2021 22:55

So on Jersey you would get a 1 bed flat with no parking for £300,000 and the the sky is the limit almost. A 3 bed semi will cost £700,000.

You could be looking at £20-30m for a mansion etc

So in summary £300,000 up to £30m

augustusglupe · 05/03/2021 22:55

6 million - 7 bedroom detached house.
50k - farm land.

LolaNova · 05/03/2021 22:56

(First half of my postcode)
Most expensive - An ‘equestrian facility’ at £2.6 million. House is a not particularly special 4 bed but the 150 acres of land is gorgeous.
Cheapest - A ‘leisure lodge’ for £190,000. It’s a really nice quiet little set of mobile homes in the middle of nowhere. I quite fancy one!

RoseMartha · 05/03/2021 22:57

Cheapest £120k 1 bed flat

Most expensive residential house £675k 5 bed semi

There is a care home for sale for 1 million also.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 05/03/2021 23:00

Cheapest - £57,550 for a studio flat.

Most expensive - £699,995 for a 5 bed, 4 reception room, triple garage and indoor swimming pool.

Large town in Derbyshire.
