The twaddle continues ......

Flowers. Yum.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 09/11/2010 23:12

Theresa - You are seeing lewdness where none was intended. But are you quite sure you want to have your brain activity monitored while watching Guy?

I was thinking that perhaps some key academic sources - like - should be held in the library here, so that anyone enrolling late for the course can catch up.

Excuse me. I'm just going back to read again about my artistic and meaningful encounter with Guy T-N. Mrs LN is most gifted.

You know, that Bad to the Bone vid is full of goodies all along, including the famous glove removal. I wonder where that came from, it looks like something he picked up in a Strippe Clubbe or something. Bad boy.

My function in the brain scan project is to act as control. I can't think why they chose me, but there you are. I shall be looking at something boring like sport or Top Gear so they can make sure they've got the machine calibrated properly.

Enjoy your story, Flowers. Guy T-N warms the cockles of one's heart.

I am off to do a bit of research into the imperative as used as punctuation of a visual medium.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 09/11/2010 23:54

I don't know how or why I've let myself be seduced into the Guy fan club study group (and I suspect once I've seen the programme rather than just the YT clips I may leave again) but I do enjoy sharing the fruits of my research. Bad To The Bone was a serendipitous find.

I am going to research .

PS No more bids for plastic Guy. He could still be yours for £21 plus postage.

Well that was the first time I've enjoyed a Kylie song. That was utterly beautiful, one of the best I've seen. Oh swoon.

Sigh. Better go now.

(I think I'll give plastic Guy a miss, if it's all the same to you. He doesn't float my boat one bit.)

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 10/11/2010 00:56

First time you've enjoyed a Kylie song? Lady, you haven't lived.

Ah, here we are then - goodness me, I have a few hours off and you've found us another campus already...

Mrs LN, you need to carry that one on for our sake, if nor for 'Fleur's :) That was great! (love the "soft deep voice in her left ear" )

Theresa, thanks for the links to Capt. America - hope he is character there ie. wears the black leather jacket in the film!

I see that the course was running very late last night. Do you all need something to

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 10/11/2010 09:01

I thing of beauty is a joy for ever, is it not, Bodenbabe?

Theresa and I do sometimes get immersed in academic discussion very late at night.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 10/11/2010 12:25

Ladies, Are you in need of a bit of a treat after your lunch?

MrsLucasNorth · 10/11/2010 12:41

Guy TN is going to have to at least make a weekend of it. Boden - you're up next, then I need to factor in Stripey, Tights and Cupcakes (any suggestions for your charcters/storylines welcome ladies!).

A bit late though LeQueen, the shoot was in September apparently. What would we do, lick the pavement?

Have a toffee instead, the best ones are in the bottom of the bag

I have read a lot of similar comments, LeQueen. It's not really for me to say as I wasn't able to watch, but it seems to me the script-writers did either a rushed job, or they have got stale and didn't care enough to go for consistency along with their twists and turns in the plot.

Manchester pavements are so yucky anyway, they don't steam the trodden-in gum often ehough.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 10/11/2010 14:16

Mm, Lucas/John was twittering about fire escapes so I pictured him turning up at my high-rise window, frozen to death and shaking.

Ha ha, out of the frying pan...

Do you think I'm a monster? No, it would be a big warm blanket and a cup of cocoa with a generous slug of Polish Cordial in it.

Then I'd phone up you lot and invite you round...

StripeyMoon · 10/11/2010 14:51

Some lovely clips already on here, thing is as soon as I watch one all the others are beckoning to me and then before I know it, it's two hours later!

Mrs LN, surely Guy is in need of an architect at some point? a tall blonde blue eyed one?
