Using a throwaway account for this.

Hey Mumsnet, figured more queer rep was needed on this site.
I'm Genderfluid, which is under the trans umbrella and means my gender is fluid and changes often. I'm also Asexual, and currently questioning my romantic attraction.
Anything phobic will be ignored (I know what this site is like when it comes to trans people) as well as anything I deem too personal. Now, AMA! :)

Some of these posts are incredibly immature. You are well aware it’s not as simple as ‘oh I like pink I must be a girl.’

Are the questions getting too hard for you OP?

Passive aggressive statements like this are just unnecessary.

JimTheShit · 03/07/2022 13:18

Two questions from me if I may; sorry if they have been asked before.

1)Who do you think assigned your sex at birth?

  1. Have you ever or would it ever occur to you to seek therapy to come to terms with your sex?

The OP clearly is not coming back to the thread 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi @Throwaway4Water. Thanks so much for doing this AMA. It's really important for people who disagree to keep communicating and you're doing a good thing here by engaging with people.

My question is: do you ever think that there is something a bit sexist and conforming about gender identity? If you say that femme = girl, then doesn't that draw on stereotypes? I would genuinely like to understand your POV.
