Excellent question Anne. What have the rest of you got in your stockpile?

I've got nipple tassels, my spare nipple tassels and emergency nipple tassels. Plus I put a couple of fresh croissants in there the day after the Brexit referendum. Love a fresh croissant, and I'll be oh-so-smug when we can't get them here any more.

Anne Caravan holiday in Rhyl, remember? Managed to keep it a surprise for Mrs Barry till the day we set off, and she was so touched - even saw her blinking back a tear, and she's not usually emotional isn't Mrs Barry.

Barry, an eco question. How can I be eco? I see people saying you need a glass water bottle but they are heavy and this create more carbon but if plastic is bad why is a plastic bottle good?

And, importantly, is silicon recyclable? And where does it come from?

Back the absolute best way to be eco is to buy fruit and veg from overseas, particularly places like Africa, India and China. I know people bang on about air miles, but if you think about it, you carbon offset by planting trees. So the more we encourage these poor countries to turn to farming, the more fruit and veg trees they'll plant, and voila! Problem solved.

Plastic is good because it comes from substances that are found in Nature, like crude oil.

Silicon (or silicone, they're the same thing) is really just a brand name for plastic. It's like ibuprofen and Nurofen - you're paying extra for the same thing!

moomin Mrs Barry and I met when I rescued her from a dead end future in academia! She was studying, I don't know, medicine or law or one of those. I turned up to do a few repairs in her student shithole, and after a bit of persistence and some patented Barry wit and wisdom, I swept her off her feet! Very decent of me really.

Barry I'm very worried about the fires in The Amazon. Will I get my delivery of Mills & Boon books in time?

And of course I'm a feminist! I let Mrs Barry work (part time), I hold doors open for young ladies, I very much enjoyed watching the Spice Girls. I just don't think you girls should overreach yourselves, that's all. Studies show that women were actually a lot happier in the 50s, when everyone had their own roles and there wasn't all this terrible pressure on girls to do a man's work.
