[Another aside, but your posts have reminded me of a RL thing, which was sad at the time, but makes me smile now..... when we had to put our last DDog down, we were all there stroking and loving her. And the vet gave her the shot and she keeled over and died. And we all gave her one last bit of love and then I turned to speak to the vet, and we were all crying our eyes out, and I realized I had this tusk of snot which went from my nose to my belly button!

Your posts reminded me of this. Apologies if you're a cat lover or an animal hater, and this leaves you cold]
