How will we know if we have lost good women?

I fear we will lose some of our strongest most vibrant voices, torn down by the current wordspeak policies..... Can we keep a record here of those we lose? I do NOT want to forget them.

I thought it was so telling that the GC would have happily kept all language (even the abhorrent Cis and Terf) ... while the trans-allies wanted to curtail as much speech as they possibly could....

To all strong GC voices - Please DO NOT leave us - your voice counts for more here than on any other forum.... There are so many of you indefatigable and knowledgeable women. It is a pleasure to read what you all have to say. I am amazed at how the posters here can so succinctly post what I am tentatively feeling my way around.

Since Spartacus I feel like the tide has turned a bit on here, but the new guidance feels a lot like censorship again. I’m all for being respectful and fair, but the language we (and they) are using is out there for all to use. I don’t care if someone calls me a TERF, in fact many of us have embraced it because it’s true, even if meant as an insult.

I really hope MN are able to come down on the side of women and girls. If they don’t who will?

Yes - and it is here that our voices will be heard best... it is here that journalists come to find stories, to hear what women think... it is here that we can peak-trans more and more people every day ... if we leave, or if our numbers diminish, our voices will be weaker .... we will be talking to ourselves in echo chambers but not being heard by the wider world... and it is THEM WE NEED for CHANGE TO HAPPEN

Where shall we go? There has to be a place we can still talk using meaningful language, share ideas and organise ourselves. Where can we do this now? I don't think this is the place anymore and I'm really sad about it. We need to share somewhere now before we all get zapped.
