Really enjoying the 20s! I had a mechanical horse lesson on Saturday- last had one about 6 months ago and the difference was astonishing.
The trainer was getting me to make really quite subtle adjustments, especially my right shoulder which I just wouldn't have been able to do (smashed collet bone, shoulder like wood!) and identifying small tweaks. Last time it was big tweaks.
I told her I did daily yoga and she said oh I can really tell, fantastically mobile hips, and strong core, makes everything so much easier.
She's a high level dressage coach (I'm not a high level dressage rider) and last time she was pretty much despairing - this time she had something to work with
so I'm extremely grateful to Adrienne and this thread for keeping me accountable even when I forget to post.
Need better ankle mobility (though it's 1,000,000 times better) and slightly less tight hamstrings - but the absolute beauty is that I know if I keep going with move it will come, but by buy without me even realising it.
