Done day 13 which was just brilliant. I am definitely enjoying this more second time round and noticing the improvements I'm making. I'd be happy to do this again in March if anyones up for it!
I do feel any day that includes warrior 2 will be a good day

@Rummikub yes, try blocks. And look up her wrist yoga sessions. They help me

OP posts:
guinnessguzzler · 14/02/2022 09:55

Agree, Warrier 2 is fab, always makes me feel calmly strong.

guinnessguzzler · 14/02/2022 09:55

Warrior Blush

BestIsWest · 14/02/2022 11:00

Supposing I get to day 30 (I will!), I will definitely want to do this again in March. I can see so much improvement in what I can do in just 2 weeks.

Rummikub · 14/02/2022 11:16

Yes to keep going!

I would definitely have given up without this thread

rifling · 14/02/2022 12:03

I might join in in March. I am currently doing her February sessions (Blossom) which I am enjoying too.

Rummikub · 14/02/2022 12:09

Rifling please do join. The more the merrier

I’ve just done day 5 and I’d forgotten lots of this. Attempted more
Even think o got pigeon but could t fold all the way forward. I feel all virtuous afterwards 😆

Shannith · 14/02/2022 13:51

I've caught up now (had to do a couple in one day to catch up). It's getting harder!

I'd be really up for doing this in March - it's a great way to see how we all progress.

I had a couple of busy days so no yoga and the difference trying to go straight into a routine... really tricky. I'm the stiffest person in the world.

I can however do a proper yoga squat now but that's been months and months of practice, most of the time believing it's impossible.

@rifling definitely join in. I'm finding it really motivating.

One thing I struggle with it's that I'm so used to doing her longer, slower ones where you focus on one thing (hip/upper back/balance) that I'm all over the place trying to keep up!

BestIsWest · 14/02/2022 20:24

Day 15 done - lovely and perfect for my shoulders.

Shinyandnew2022 · 14/02/2022 21:26

Hello everyone I haven't posted for a few days but am still going. I had a friend visit for the weekend and still managed to squeeze in my daily fix !
Day 15 today totally revived me after a busy tiring and work agro filled day.
I got very confused and convinced myself I had skipped a day as it's the 14th and I am on day 15 - middle aged brain moment until I realised January has 31 days so all is well.
I agree that even though you can feel improvements second time round it still feels just as hard.
I had a strange moment today when I realised my heels were almost flat in down dog - not sure how that happened but it felt good.

Shinyandnew2022 · 14/02/2022 21:32

Ooh I meant to say this thread is really inspiring me to keep at it so yes please to March.

UnaOfStormhold · 14/02/2022 21:58

Drat, completely dropped out of the yoga every day routine - so often happens when the first 30 days is done. Too late to do a full practice this evening but I will do a quick 10 minutes to get back in the swing and try to pick up again with day 10 tomorrow.

guinnessguzzler · 15/02/2022 10:11

Glad you're starting back to it @UnaOfStormhold

Yes, @Shinyandnew2022 it is a nice surprise when the heels touch the mat unexpectedly for the first time!

Loved Day 15. Had a passing thought at the end, if male 'bants' were delivered in the style of Adriene; 'Ere love, you don't have to but if you want to I invite you to gently raise the corners of your mouth' Grin. The other thing that often makes me chuckle is whenever she says something like 'kiss the right knee to the right elbow, and now the left knee to the left elbow' I always imagine her then calmly saying 'and now both knees to both elbows' Grin.

UnaOfStormhold · 15/02/2022 10:20

@guinnessguzzler thanks. And your knees to elbows pose sounds very like Crow - though even Adriene probably couldn't get there straight from plank!

Sooverthemill · 15/02/2022 10:38

@UnaOfStormhold welcome back!
Day 15 today though a bit stressful as I Overslept and had 30 minutes to do yoga and dress before Sainsburys arrived ( and they were a minute early) so it wasn't as relaxing as it should have been

But, it was great and I feel so much more confident. Even though I do yoga Al,ost every day I often would just do an easy 10-15 minute one and this 30 days is really challenging me. DH thinks I've lost weight. I haven't I'm just toned up

OP posts:
guinnessguzzler · 15/02/2022 12:13

That's it! I haven't lost much weight but I have lost fat / gained muscle.

Rummikub · 15/02/2022 14:03

I keep looking at my belly and stomach and thinking have they changed?
Dd2 thinks my stomach has slimmed down!

Shannith · 15/02/2022 14:41

Day 15 done - I'm really pleased with how it's expanding my horizons.

I've once and for all (well for now) sorted out the tightness in my shoulders/upper back/ (did her text neck video 7 days in a row and then every other day for a week - though my pain was caused by a repeatedly smashed collar bone when I was 11 - amazing I still I've horses really).

Its made such a difference to my ability to attempt and even do poses.

Im really getting into it now.

@Shinyandnew2022 well done in the flat feet! It's so great isn't it when suddenly you can just do something.

Great that you are starting back @UnaOfStormhold - 10 mins is a good start!

BestIsWest · 15/02/2022 16:32

Day 16 done. The blocks are a revelation. I’m hoping as I build strength I won’t need them but for now they are helping me do more than I would be able to otherwise.

Pleasenomoreglitter · 15/02/2022 18:07

I'm actually finding it harder this time round. I've been really trying hard to engage the right muscles though, so I'm wondering if it's that. Feeling it a lot in various muscles, but want to keep going in hope they will strengthen if I persevere!

Shinyandnew2022 · 15/02/2022 22:52

Day 16 done here too.
Really enjoyed it I even managed the side planks just about.
Not sure I deserve all the praise for the flat heels though as don't think it happened at all today !

@BestIsWest interested in the blocks as I keep wondering what they might help me with . Maybe worth a try.

@Sooverthemill I know it's not necessarily what's motivating you / us but that's brilliant you can tell you are more toned. It's great you are getting some extra challenge from following the Move series on the thread as without your first thread I wouldn't be doing this at all and I am so happy I am !

Sooverthemill · 16/02/2022 08:51

Day 15. That was another fab session. DH even saw me do forearm plank! He was dead impressed. @Shinyandnew2022 I'm very human so yes I want my body to look 'better' but being strong is also fantastic. I know that my shoulders are building strength which is fab ( that wheelchair is pita to push).
Well done everyone , we are getting there!

OP posts:
guinnessguzzler · 16/02/2022 12:18

Yes, we will all soon be Luisa from Encanto Grin

Day 16 was short and sweet, think I might do an extra session later!

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 16/02/2022 19:56

Hi all-haven''t checking in for a few days and love reading all of the updates. I'm def not feeling slimmer-still have my pre-lockdown jeans as a goal...

But!! I did the side planks today (Day 16) with no "kickstand" and held them-was so so chuffed so even if I might not see it I am getting stronger.

I am really enjoying the re-do but am finding it hard because I am def challenging myself to push harder and hold things longer etc-which is very very satisfying!!!

Shinyandnew2022 · 16/02/2022 20:05

Well done @mumsiedarlingrevolta the side planks sound impressive !
Day 17 today and had no recollection it was snuggle day - I enjoyed it but found my mind wandered more than in a more challenging practice
Love pigeon so much .
