Who's signed up? I've done these every year since 2016 and I can't wait! Although my health has been poor this year I've managed to practice at home almost every day. I love the kickstart these give my year

I've just done day 15. Really didn't feel like it but so glad I did.

My dog enjoyed it to Smile

Day 16 done. Still finding the balance poses tricky as think my ankles are weak and standing on one leg hurts my ankle. Wondering how best to build strength?

Sooverthemill · 18/01/2022 08:24

@misskatamari

I could be wrong, but I think there is a yoga with Adriene video for wrists... might be worth a check
There are a few. I have arthritis so I use them most weeks.

Had a full nights sleep thank goodness and woke just before 6 so I did day 15 and 16 back to back. Caught up! I feel slightly cheated at day 16 is traditionally a less tricky session! I am fine on balances on my right side but my left I simply fall over ( after 6+ years of almost daily practice) so don't give up. As always I loved these

Morning all, about to start Day 15. Am off this week so only going to do 1 a day as was starting to find having to do two a chore rather than a joy.
This is the furthest I have continued with the 30 days but not sure I am seeing huge benefits just yet - but most importantly I haven’t quit because of that!!

Shinyandnew2022 · 18/01/2022 10:44

@misskatamari sorry to hear you have COVID in the house too how old is your DS ?
My 8 year old is out of isolation and back in school we thought we had all avoided it but DH tested positive on day 10
Maybe the yoga is protecting me !

BalancingStick · 18/01/2022 15:03

Day 16 was done this morning after a run. All good but there were quite a few strength poses and my legs were a bit shaky having already asked them to run 6k! Am hoping to get Day 17 done this evening so I am back on track. The fact it's called 'snuggle' makes me look forward to this Grin

namechange5575 · 18/01/2022 15:51

Haven't popped in for a while but I'm still doing them - I missed my Sunday one but did two back to back so I'm up to speed now. Very pleased that I'm 'showing up for myself'.

misskatamari · 18/01/2022 15:57

@Shinyandnew2022 aww sorry to hear about your ds and Dh! Im glad your sons better, I hope dh has it mildly. Mine is 6, and thankfully he's not feeling too bad now. I however am also positive now (was inevitable really as I couldn't distance from him, when he was feeling really poorly, so have just been stagnating in covid soup for the whole weekend 😂🙈 I do not feel well today, so think the yoga is gonna be on the back burner for a few days at least. Currently in bed after just having a nap ❤️

CeeCeeDeeBee · 18/01/2022 16:17

Did day 17 in between work tasks, it's not as snuggly as its name would have you believe! My muscles ache from my gym class so it was good to stretch.

guinnessguzzler · 18/01/2022 19:01

Oh no, hope you feel better soon @misskatamari and @Shinyandnew2022 I hope you manage to stay virus free.

I was really looking forward to Day 17 Snuggle until I saw your comment there @CeeCeeDeeBee ! Had a busy day so now saving it until bedtime.

Glad you got a decent night's sleep @Sooverthemill it is so hard to function properly when sleep deprived!

And nice to see your dog joining in @2fallsfromSSA My cats sometimes come and sit on the mat but they aren't as well behaved as Benji Grin

DefaultParent · 18/01/2022 19:18

Managed day 14 this morning and 15 this afternoon. 15 felt very short so I'm glad I did it after day 14.

parrotonmyshoulder · 18/01/2022 19:37

I started Day 15 this evening and found it really dull, so stopped and repeated day 14. I guess we need different things at different times.

poorbuthappy · 18/01/2022 19:48

I did 16 and 17 tonight having not done it since last Wednesday due to booster and after effects, 2nd Christmas on the weekend and a lovely hangover. Glad to be back on it. But how much can you breathe in???? I almost ended up in a pile when she kept going!

Lightningrain · 18/01/2022 21:03

@poorbuthappy I also struggled with the breathing! Im glad it’s not just me. I missed yesterday so did days 16 and 17 back to back too.

My dog decided he wanted to join in when the blanket came out! He’s definitely not as well behaved as Benji.

RagzRebooted · 18/01/2022 21:46

Day 17 done. Enjoyed the snuggling.

guinnessguzzler · 18/01/2022 21:58

I fell asleep at the end! Think that was more to do with the time of day than anything though.

guinnessguzzler · 18/01/2022 21:58

Well and the blanket I suppose.

BalancingStick · 18/01/2022 22:35

Snuggling has been done! So I'm back on track with the days again. Glad I caught up as have just realised tomorrow is one of the 'longer' ones. Hoping it's a good one...

Languidleopard · 18/01/2022 22:38

Day 15 snd 16 passed in a bit of a blur, as life gets properly back up to speed after the Christmas break. I'm sticking with it - just.

My balance was really off today though, I think my mind was too busy. Looking forward to snuggling tomorrow 🙂

rifling · 19/01/2022 10:28

Day 16 was hard for me. Looking forward to snuggling tomorrow!

plus3 · 19/01/2022 10:52

Morning all, really enjoyed Day 16 but my balance (especially on the right) needs lots more work. I have also noticed that I am more flexible on the left side.
My shifting from downward dog to a lunge has not yet noticeably improved…

Sooverthemill · 19/01/2022 13:52

So today was day 17 for me which was tbh a bit slow but probably what I needed after a rubbish night. I do struggle just lying there for minutes though and always exit. Enjoyed the low to the ground stuff, pigeon especially

ChocAuVin · 19/01/2022 15:00

Just checking in with the thread, enjoyed Snuggling this morning and like @Sooverthemill felt like it was what I needed!

Pleased with myself to have kept going Smile

guinnessguzzler · 19/01/2022 17:42

I did Day 18 earlier. A bit longer than some of the recent ones but I really enjoyed it and it went quickly. Spoilers: more pigeon and some good twists.
