Who's signed up? I've done these every year since 2016 and I can't wait! Although my health has been poor this year I've managed to practice at home almost every day. I love the kickstart these give my year

To whoever mentioned Kassandra earlier, I cheat on Adriene with Kassandra. I try and do a 10 minute morning Kassandra practice and then do Adriene in the evening. I would say i Kassandra presents in a similar style but is a bit less wordy and chatty. She does explain really clearly and a couple of things I have finally twigged with her explainations.

Noticed shop open now for merch, have ordered myself a boxy sweat top.

Weepingwillows12 · 16/01/2022 17:59

Did 11 and 12 today as took a few days off last week after twinging a muscle in my neck. Seems to have kicked off a bit of sciatica so skipped a few poses but don't think I did myself any favours with those leg circle things.

It's really interesting seeing how different everyone finds each session and who likes the balance ones, the more hard work ones the relaxing ones etc. Love how different we all are. Some great tips coming through too. Thank you all.

Gufo · 16/01/2022 19:16

I found Day 13 hard yesterday - but then it did have Crow, I'd done 15000 steps at work (for which I'd woken up at 5am), and it was day one of my period. Wish it had been a chill out one! I was just wishing the session over, and couldn't get to grips with it.

Just did day 14 and 15 to catch up as the DC being unusually compliant. Really enjoyed them both and feel good now. My heels even briefly touched down in DD. The twist in DD was hard, but nothing is as hard as I found the standing splits/half moon poses, whichever day they were!

CeeCeeDeeBee · 16/01/2022 19:47

Just bought two boxy tees because my Breath one is my absolute favourite top. The quality is lovely.

Caught up on day 14 and 15 even though I wasn't really in the mood. Enjoyed them both and they whizzed by, though.

EmmaStone · 16/01/2022 20:12

Just did days 14&15 so fully caught up. Thought they were nice enough, but nothing spectacular. It's my normal yoga class tomorrow, so means I can give Adriene a miss tomorrow.

Shinyandnew2022 · 16/01/2022 21:15

Day 15 done - again loved it .
The shorter sessions are interesting as they leave me wanting a bit more.
Loved knocking on heavens door and am so proud of myself to be halfway through that I obviously deserve to treat myself to something from the pop
Up shop don't I ?

RagzReturnedUnwrapped · 16/01/2022 22:53

Day 15 done. Enjoyed it, but actually found it too short. Nice to leave wanting more though, rather than waiting for the end.
Did day 13 and 14 yesterday as I missed Friday evening (fell asleep).
I do mine between 8 and 10pm, always in my pyjamas. Sometimes with a bra. Glad I had a bra on today for the knocking on heaven's door one, or I'd have been knocking myself out!

Shop looks good, I'll treat myself to a t shirt when the 30 days is over. I'm slightly annoyed that I've missed 2 days so technically haven't done 15 days, but still way more than I've ever managed before and can't quite believe I'm still here!

Huge thanks to this thread, as it makes me feel a bit more accountable. Well done to all of us!

BalancingStick · 16/01/2022 23:19

Did Bikram yoga at a studio yesterday and was wiped out so did Day 14 and 15 back to back today. Really loved Day 14 - it felt too quick and I was disappointed to realise we were in the final savasana so soon! I wanted more so was glad I had Day 15 to follow. But... I really didn't enjoy Day 15 - found it all a bit meh.. probably my least favourite so far.

CeibaTree · 16/01/2022 23:38

Just did day 15, I really love the shorter sessions in this year's program, definitely keeps me motivated to make time each day as I know they are short enough to fit in. My downward dog is getting more comfortable too I noticed today, I may even remove it from my most hated poses list :)

Jumbojem · 17/01/2022 09:12

Does anyone else spend time looking out the window behind Adrienne (and Benji). The location usually looks stunning but this year especially, it looks like a wooded slope down to a bay or a lake? I spend far too much time daydreaming about how lovely it all looks when she's probably told me to close my eyes and focus on breathing!

Sooverthemill · 17/01/2022 11:15

I did day 15 today, behind as always and even though I had a truly awful weekend and barely slept last night it was fabulous. Very happy with day 14 too even though there was crow. Am loving this series and will definitely favourite it

Possibly me? I also cheat on Adrienne with kassandra and ordinarily nowadays will split the week with each. Kassandra also often has her cats with her

@Sooverthemill, it’s great to have loads of options isn’t it? Something for every mood and timescale. I did start with Boho Beautiful but Adriene and Kassandra seem more achievable for the less flexible. Boho Beautiful is very pretzel like!

misskatamari · 17/01/2022 13:43

I'm so behind! After doing 11 and 12 on Friday, my plans of catching up have been scuppered. Ds has covid and was so ill on Saturday. The rest of us are so far negative, but I've been shattered, so no idea what day Adrienne is up to - but I ain't there 😄 Going to attempt 13 now...

DefaultParent · 17/01/2022 15:09

I've just managed day 13 today. I struggled and wished I'd had a drink first. But managed around 2 seconds in crow! I'm intending to do two tommorow if baby plays ball to try and catch up abit.

guinnessguzzler · 17/01/2022 15:10

Hope your DS is ok @misskatamari

Just done Day 16, another short one although I nearly fell asleep at the end. Must be all the breathing!

Some of the merch is lovely, going to order something for sure as a reward for sticking with it!

rifling · 17/01/2022 16:50

Out of interest, for those of you who find positions like downward dog painful on the wrists and shoulders, does it ever get better and if so, when?

Weepingwillows12 · 17/01/2022 19:18

Day 13 done. I quite enjoyed it and nice and short. It kept moving so always feels more manageable. No chance of crow though. One day!

itssquidstella · 17/01/2022 19:25

Day 16 felt really short, but I enjoyed dancer's pose at the end.

parrotonmyshoulder · 17/01/2022 20:00

I liked the shortness of Day 13 today as I didn’t have much time. managed to add myself 5 minutes extra of lying still at the end !

CeeCeeDeeBee · 17/01/2022 20:19

I managed to hold dancer pose for the full time on both sides today. Has never happened before!

So it must be working.

EmmaStone · 17/01/2022 20:26

Had my normal yoga class tonight, and again, I definitely felt more flexible, and my downward dogs were easier to hold (and my heels are getting closer to the ground...).

For the PP asking about painful wrists in DD, it should have improved by now, but equally, sometimes we're all physiologically different, so it may just be something that's harder for you. You can also do some of the poses with your hands balled into fists, knuckles down to the mat, and that can help relieve wrist pain.

Shinyandnew2022 · 17/01/2022 21:16

Another day done - it was one of the highlights of what has been a pretty awful Monday here - DS back to school and DH tested positive argh

misskatamari · 17/01/2022 21:40

I could be wrong, but I think there is a yoga with Adriene video for wrists... might be worth a check

misskatamari · 17/01/2022 21:41

And thanks @guinnessguzzler ds is okay, he wasn't well at all on Saturday but has perked up a lot since. We're now all just waiting to see if we catch it 🙈
