Who's signed up? I've done these every year since 2016 and I can't wait! Although my health has been poor this year I've managed to practice at home almost every day. I love the kickstart these give my year

Just signed up too, thanks!

CHEM20 · 26/12/2021 21:52

This looks really interesting… can anyone tell me how long each session is (roughly) please? Just trying to work out where I could fit it into my day.

They tend to vary from 20 mins to 40 mins in length but there is a timetable on her site I believe
MissOrganisedMe · 26/12/2021 23:24

I have a lifeforme one which is lovely. It Was a bit pricey, but it was an upgrade from a sports direct one. I was using it 4/5 times a week so thought I deserved to treat myself.

@Redcrayons thanks for the recommendation. It's a bit too pricey for me, I'm a complete novice. Don't want too spendy in case I don't keep it up. Maybe, sportsdirect in the first instance then I can upgrade, like you, if I get into it.

They vary. Some times about 46 minutes sometimes just 14. The way she structures the 30 days tends to build on the previous day. There's a pattern so day six is always abs work day 8 is kinder, day 16 I'd a day of relaxation . If you look at a couple of her previous ones you may get the idea better. I always look at the calendar she ,publishes at the start so you can plan when is the best time for you to do it. I always do it as soon as I get up or there's no way I can fit it in.

Mats: you can get a cheap one from tk max. I used one for 4 years and then bought myself a liforme mat 3 years ago which has made it so much easier for me to practice ( it's non slip and has markings I find helpful).

I've followed Adriene yoga YouTube and used the app since 2015 and it's been brilliant for me

Calendar is out! No videos over 30 minutes this year, which is great for me. I wonder whether she just got fed up of recording free content, or whether she had lots of feedback asking for shorter sessions?

I always add her videos on top of my normal exercise regime, so shorter is definitely better for me.

Redcrayons · 28/12/2021 21:52

I was just coming into the thread to post the calendar! So looking forward to it.

OnlyClothes · 29/12/2021 00:12

I’ve signed up and received the timetable too, but how do we get the videos? Are they emailed each day or are they put up on YouTube?

whitershadeofpale · 29/12/2021 00:14

I’ve just signed up. I had a baby 8 weeks ago and could really do with a bit of toning and carving out a small amount of time each day for me. The shorter videos sound perfect.

Stoic123 · 29/12/2021 00:23

Signed up. Not done one of her 30 day courses before - but her vidoes that I've tried have been great. Excited!

whitershadeofpale · 29/12/2021 00:31

Has anyone got a link to the calendar? I haven’t been sent mine yet.

Talisin · 29/12/2021 00:39

@OnlyClothes Yes, there’s an email with a link every day.

@whitershadeofpale Here you go! calendar

whitershadeofpale · 29/12/2021 00:44

Thanks @Talisin 😊

OnlyClothes · 29/12/2021 00:55

Thanks @Talisin.

So when this month is over what do you all do? I know she has various other month long ‘challenges’ but is there any natural order? Or do you just do whatever grabs you? I guess it’s all yoga, so it’s all beneficial even if it’s don’t out of sync?

Shallwegoforawalk · 29/12/2021 00:58

Marking to pop back

JacquelineCarlyle · 29/12/2021 01:07

I've just signed up - thanks for the recommendation!

viques · 29/12/2021 01:07

Signed up. It’s a month! I can do it.

SimonedeBeauvoirscat · 29/12/2021 10:04

I’m in. I’ve been doing daily YWA since the lockdown last winter and it’s really benefited me. Never thought I’d be someone who could plank! And I just got a new mat for Christmas (Sweaty Betty super-grippy in case anyone is wondering).

Weepingwillows12 · 29/12/2021 10:26

Only clothes - she has calendars for every month but most of them use a mix of old and new videos. I sometimes follow them or more often pick based on length of video and time I have free. Sometimes based on my mood and what I want to do so there are a few I love more and do more often.

There are hundreds of videos available. I did it for about 6/7 months last year without getting bored.

ExplodingCarrots · 29/12/2021 10:36

Just signed up. Complete beginner. Was planning on starting some yoga anyways but then saw this. So thank you !

I'm so happy about this too as I find it really hard to fit in anything longer. I'm excited now!

Sooverthemill · 29/12/2021 10:48

@OnlyClothes what I often do is repeat that one as I find the repetition really helpful then go back to one of the other 30 days ( I love breath and Revolution and the original 30 days) and then follow her monthly curated calendar which she puts together following a kind of theme. If you look at her website you can have a good look. You can pay for the app which gives you extra but you really don't need to. I subscribed for years to support her free videos but stopped a couple of years ago.
