Very excited when the email came this morning! Is anyone else up for this?

I’ve watched the welcome video this morning and looking forward to tomorrow.

I’ve been working my way through the original 30 days again so will do day 24 a little later on.

Hope everyone has a brilliant 2020 and that their yoga practice is fulfilling.

I’d forgotten it didn’t start properly until tomorrow. I’ll have a look for an old one to do later. Ready to get going now!

Redpriestandmozart · 01/01/2020 10:00

Oh, I had forgotten it didn't start until tomorrow too, so I watched the welcome video and a short video, A little goes a long way. I was psyched up for the 45-minute video but looking forward to it tomorrow.

I'm hoping I get through this month, just through an MS relapse so still a bit dizzy and frazzled down one side but determined to get back into yoga again, missed it SO much.

parrotonmyshoulder · 01/01/2020 10:18

I’m going to do it this year too. Managed until April (using her other videos) a couple of years ago and then had a (non yoga) injury. Couldn’t get round to it last year.
This year is going to be challenging as I am beginning divorce proceedings next week. I’ll need the mental space of yoga to help!

KinkyDoritowithsparkleson · 01/01/2020 16:09

Really looking forward to starting this. Thanks for the link.

BloggersNetwork · 01/01/2020 16:25

Just signed in. Never done this before. So I take it it doesn't really kick off properly until tomorrow?

KittyMcKitty · 01/01/2020 16:27

Today is the welcome video - it’s rather nice.yes tomorrow starts proper with a long 45 minutes session (all timings are on calendar).

She uploads videos 12am Texas time so 6am here.

I've been meaning to give this a try, will be nice to have some virtual company!

sycamore54321 · 01/01/2020 17:15

I am in! I discovered this last year via Mumsnet and really enjoyed the month.

However, in the interim, circumstances changed and I have gotten close to zero exercise in recent months and am feeling the negative effects.

Starting to watch as soon as my children are in bed. Is the Welcome video just chat or do you actually do some poses? If it’s just chat, I might start another video tonight and then listen to the welcome video tomorrow morning while commuting.

KittyMcKitty · 01/01/2020 17:21

The welcome videos only 6 minutes or so - chat with a tiny bit of breathing .

Hi,

Can I join in? I’ve signed up and done a couple of her other 30 day series.

Really looking forward to getting back into yoga. I’ve not done any for a couple of months and really notice the difference.

mamapants · 01/01/2020 22:15

I'm going to give this a go, even though I find Adrienne quite irritating. I really want to get a daily practice going. Just did a previous one today, was day 1 revolution to get me going.

NotPennysBoat · 01/01/2020 22:19

I'm in! Have a little girl-crush on Adrienne...

Here's the calendar for those looking.

eatsleepmoverepeat · 01/01/2020 23:31

I’ll be joining in

SquashedFlyBiscuit · 01/01/2020 23:36

Oooh I might try this. I struggled with it last year (v unfot3/fat) but it says in this one they adapt to all levels.... I hope I dont fail!

KittyMcKitty · 02/01/2020 08:25

Day 1 completed Smile - for those who were nervous there’s nothing challenging in it - mainly some nice deep breathing and stretches.

Looking forward to seeing what the rest of the program brings whilst I Hope it is accessible to all I also hope it has modifications to challenge those with more experience. Hope everyone else enjoyed Day 1

parrotonmyshoulder · 02/01/2020 08:33

I enjoyed day one and so did the dog who insisted on sharing my mat!

Sooverthemill · 02/01/2020 09:04

I did day 1! So excited to have managed all of it. I generally dint have a whole 45 minutes for yoga but today the stars aligned. Loved it! Yay!

Redpriestandmozart · 02/01/2020 10:35

I liked day one, I'm 2 stone heavier than my last 30-day challenge and I'm nowhere near as flexible so this month may be a challenge.

I love how relaxed Benji is and how much she loves him, my lazy dog didn't join me this morning.

byvirtue · 02/01/2020 11:16

Is there any actual Yoga in todays video? I'm at 9 minutes and she's just started stretching.

I wont have time to get on the mat until later and I really want to do some yoga today rather than gentle stretches!

KittyMcKitty · 02/01/2020 11:47

byvirtue

There are some stretches in mountain pose, some down dogs, low and high lunges, few plans, seated forward stretch. So not tons but I felt well stretched after it.

Frenchfancy · 02/01/2020 11:51

Day 1 done which is one day more than last year. I managed it all 2 years ago and kept it up for a while but I've done nothing for over a year and I feel it.

byvirtue · 02/01/2020 12:29

Thanks @KittyMcKitty I did day 30 of Dedicate yesterday so will go with a gentler flow today. I'm always so impatient to get stuck in at the start and I have to remember she always takes it slow at the beginning!

sweetkitty · 02/01/2020 13:26

Did Day 2 this morning although is it Day 1 as Day 1 was a chat?

For me it was sore even sitting cross legged my left inner thigh was moaning, first cat cow ouch, I’m so stiff and sore, taking it at my own pace no planks here.

Sooverthemill · 02/01/2020 13:42

@sweetkitty Yesterday was day 0.

The 30 days challenge builds up so the first few days are usually gentle so complete beginners can join in. I like the slow start myself
