Anyone signed up to these emails starting on NYD? I started yoga at the beginning of the year and have been surprised at how much I enjoy it, did the 30 days of yoga earlier in the year, and am committed to completing Revolution in real time!

Love Adriene, so gentle and kind. Total girl crush!

I did Day 1 today too and loved it! I found it very relaxing but was shocked at how stiff I am after 2 weeks of Christmas laziness. Looking forward tomorrow's video!

Have also challenged myself to run a mile a day, so having just got home after being away for NYE, I'm about to go for my run, then do day 1 with Adriene!

I did Day 1 this morning and really enjoyed it. I'll be getting up at 5.30 to do it once I go back to work. I'm dreading that part, but I need to get up earlier anyway.

Was struck with norovirus yesterday Sadso I've just watched Day One in bed and done a few feeble movements and breathing. It was quite soothing to watch. But man I feel ill. So much for good intentions.

It's a terribly hard thing to go through on your body and mind. But today's one is 'ease' so a good starting place.

I managed to get to 40 never having had a sickness bug. I've found it quite shocking Shock

They vary - today's was 23 minutes IIRC.

I've just done today's. Very gentle start, I've never really done yoga before so it was perfect for me. I'll be doing mine before bed at night most likely.

How long are the videos?

Last year they varied from as little as 15 minutes up to 45 minutes, with the majority 30-35 minutes.

I'm in and did day 1 this afternoon. I did Adriene's Yoga Camp last January and was doing yoga very regularly while I did that then it dropped off over the year so would be nice to give myself a kick start and increase the frequency again.

Day 1 is always a very easy day, will be interesting to see how quickly she ups the pace. And what she does to vary it from the last 2 years. I'll probably repeat Yoga Camp and 30 Days after doing Revolution as well so that will cover the first half of the year probably!

Thank you for this thread! I've been meaning to start yoga again for ages and resolved that the classic new year self improvement time is right.

I'd never heard of Adriene but just signed up and started the first video, will revisit properly tomorrow.

Sorry for your loss whyhastherumgone. Hope you're looking after yourself. Yoga is great. I had a mmc 2 months ago and want some zen in my life while trying to strengthen myself up and ttc again. This will be a positive step! Smile

I did Yoga Camp last Jan and loved it but fell away from practice around the middle of the year and never really got my yoga mojo (yojo?) back. So. New year, new start. Have just finished day one and feel very relaxed now. Looking forward to tomorrow.

For those asking about video length, Adriene posred the run times for week one on twitter:

*Day 6 36 min

Day 2 done. I'm so unfit! I only stopped for about a month over Christmas and I'm so creaky and inflexible now!
