Anyone signed up to these emails starting on NYD? I started yoga at the beginning of the year and have been surprised at how much I enjoy it, did the 30 days of yoga earlier in the year, and am committed to completing Revolution in real time!

Love Adriene, so gentle and kind. Total girl crush!

Just did Day 25 & 26 back to back, despite feeling sore from yesterday's practice. I think the root chakra one gave me enough energy to do more. For anyone that enjoyed the root chakra practice, Adriene has another one that she did just before Christmas too.

Ulysses I hope your dd is feeling better, mine is back to school today.

RhinestoneCowgirl · 02/02/2017 19:02

Just done day 26 while DC eating tea, now having my bowl of soup.

I think my arms are finally feeling stronger - hurrah!

FiftyNineOhEight · 02/02/2017 20:12

I did day 22 this morning but concluded that I prefer to do it in the evening.

I am going to try to push on through and finish next week. Then I will either start again or do one of the 30 day practices. I have made some other lifestyle changes in January and am feeling trimmer and stronger.

quirkychick · 04/02/2017 08:43

Well done, Fifty, I did the same last year and so now I feel I'm just getting back to normal activity levels. Just done Day 27. Feeling a little sore and tired today.

RhinestoneCowgirl · 04/02/2017 19:59

Did day 27 yesterday morning and then day 29 this morning - mainly because it was a short one and I was running out of time before going to work. Lovely and meditative before heading into a rather challenging day of training (last Saturday working for a while, yippee!)

Planning to go back and do day 28 tomorrow. If I can drag myself out of bed in time I really like starting the day with yoga before breakfast.

InfiniteSheldon · 05/02/2017 08:42

I am seriously late to the party done days 1 to 7 really looking forward to day 8 serenity am committed to doing it every day for thirty one days then am going to redo the first ten days see how my practice (and my bad back) has improved. Then it's ds' wedding and hopefully my dress (and arms) will look great.

FiftyNineOhEight · 05/02/2017 09:15

It's funny isn't it Rhinestone. I love the idea of starting my day with yoga but I am so stiff and creaky I find it too hard.

Just did day 23 after a 7 mile run and feeling well stretched out now.

quirkychick · 05/02/2017 09:23

Just done Day 28, I was going to combine with Day 29, but I'm feeling a bit stiff today, so I got my foam roller out instead... ow, hips are sore. I find I usually get more flexible as the practice goes on, so I do dd, forward bend etc. with legs hip width apart and knees slightly bent to start and then I get to legs together and knees straight by the end. Not today, I even struggled going from plank to dd, and needed to come through cat.

RhinestoneCowgirl · 05/02/2017 09:31

Day 28 this morning, fell over sideways in one of the high lunges Blush always so grateful I'm in privacy of my own home when this happens.

Fiftynine it's also the whole school run/getting to work thing in the morning. In the summer I'm usually up and about early but this time of year I struggle to get up in the dark.

quirkychick my legs are never fully straight in forward fold. Partly due to tight muscles (although yoga def helping) and partly that my legs are very long so it's a long way down!

quirkychick · 05/02/2017 11:46

Rhinestone my legs are quite long too, that might be why I find it hard! I have very tight hamstrings too, probably why I have tendonitis in mine, though it's bending my knee that hurts most atm. Dp came in while I was doing the twisting lunge Blush, I did explain that's why I'm quite good at balancing: he challenged me to a can you balance on one leg for 10 secs with your eyes shut, yesterday. Apparently, it's supposed to show age and fall risk.

Fiftnine I'm struggling with the waking up early atm, I'm sure it's the dark mornings. I'm usually fine.

Hello! I am coming into this really late! But they closed the 31 days of yoga kula On 31 January Sad I started well at day one and then came down with flu on day 18. I am now out of time but just did day 25 root chakra. It's annoying I fell behind because I was seeing such a difference. Does anyone find that one side of their body is stronger than the other? I have a much better right side than left. Regardless I have found it very progressive so I have impressed myself with my strength. Perhaps I should have started back at day 1 post-flu as its been a harder restart.

I am torn between doing yoga camp next or Following the Feb calendar. I am determined to do yoga everyday this year (stupid illnesses notwithstanding I tried to do some gentle yoga on day 6 of flu which was silly and I had to have a 3 hour nap after). I have the find what feels good app so got the quickie yoga for mornings and evenings through just now. Bonus as I am crap at getting up and ready in the morning, but I can fit 5 mins in.

PacificDogwod · 05/02/2017 21:37

I've just joined yesterday.... Blush
And was really happy to receive my 2nd email today - will I still get the 31 days?

I've only just started doing yoga and was hoping to keep doing this at home.

VioletHornswaggle · 06/02/2017 11:22

You will continue to get the emails I think. They just closed the kula community on it on the find what Feels Good website but there are other areas you can post if you want to.

I also just found out that Manuka Life have an amazing sale on. Huge reductions.

TheAugury · 06/02/2017 12:18

Loved day 9 this is the longest I have stuck to a thirty day program Smile

VioletHornswaggle · 06/02/2017 14:49

I did the yoga quickies last night and this morning. Only 7 mins and 5 mins but super proud of myself for actually doing them!

Ulysses · 06/02/2017 15:43

I missed yesterday and not sure if I'll that much time later to do Day 26 properly. I think I'll try the 5 minute one though, just to keep my hand in.

Hello to all those that haven't long started out Smile.

RhinestoneCowgirl · 06/02/2017 19:28

Just did day 30 and have day off work tomorrow so plenty of time for day 31.

TheAugury · 06/02/2017 21:13

Well done Rhinestone have you enjoyed it?

RhinestoneCowgirl · 06/02/2017 22:26

Yes really enjoyed thanks. Good for settling my mind, and my body is trimmer too (I know we're not supposed to focus on that bit, but it's a nice side effect Wink)

Fatrascals me too with the cold, I felt wretched and it took at least a week to get my energy levels up. Flowers I hope you feel better soon.

I've just done Day 30, and will do Day 31 tomorrow. I feel more into it now, I will definitely come back to the Yoga Revolution some time and give it a better go.

quirkychick · 09/02/2017 10:22

I have done all 31 days. Feeling good that I've finished it all and set up to continue for a regular practice. Well done, everyone!

TheAugury · 09/02/2017 14:49

Day 11 was hard sun salutations that didn't flow as the explaining spoilt my breathing timing ended up doing it at my place then she started singing (out of tune) and seemed more focussed on that not feeling the love today hopefully tomorrow will be better. Inspired by those of you that stuck to it Flowers

TheAugury · 11/02/2017 17:58

Still with it on day 14 now and really feeling the benefits my heels are down in dog my standing split felt awesome and my back has stopped aching. Dh keeps commenting on how flat my stomach is and win win have had to go in to a smaller clasp on my bras Smile

FiftyNineOhEight · 12/02/2017 12:29

That all sounds great TheAugury.

I am still going, just gone day 26 so the end is in sight for me. I will definitely try to keep going with some kind of daily practice.
