CQC interview

Hello!
I am a usual Mumsnetter, but changed username.

I had an interview with CQC for a inspector role just over two weeks ago, they said they'd be in touch either way by end of last week or beginning of this week. The portal says my application is "in review" and no change since before interview.

How long shall I give it until I follow up, or shall I even follow it up at all? It's a job I've wanted for a while but I'm unsure of what the realistic timescales are with these sorts of organisations!

I emailed ladt Friday for an update,Received an email saying there has been delay in announcing the outcome to the candidates and they will get back as soon as they can.

I got the same today, so hopefully soon!

Would be nice! I interviewed for another job last week and got an offer today, got a few days to decide, but honestly thinking about taking it.

My application has now changed to closed yesterday, yet I haven’t heard anything from them. Does this mean I have been rejected and has anyone else got an update? Thanks!

No email & nothing has updated on my portal, it still says ‘in review’ (ASC Central Network).

I had a phone call this morning to say I had got the job!! Hope you all hear back soon too (if you haven’t already) 🤞x

Well done you! Did they give you an actual start date? I've not heard anything (South area) would be great to know either way before my call in the afternoon tomorrow with the other job!

Just to update, I was successful at interview, but no vacancies in my area or higher scoring applicants were offered the immediate roles, so I’m on the ‘Successful Applicant - Offer Ready’ list!

@JollyKaw no start date as of yet, I had an email and had to complete and confirm my identity and now awaiting a message from the onboarding team to get the process started and arrange a start date. I have to give 12 weeks notice to my current job so will still be a while for me yet! 😩
