CQC interview

Hello!
I am a usual Mumsnetter, but changed username.

I had an interview with CQC for a inspector role just over two weeks ago, they said they'd be in touch either way by end of last week or beginning of this week. The portal says my application is "in review" and no change since before interview.

How long shall I give it until I follow up, or shall I even follow it up at all? It's a job I've wanted for a while but I'm unsure of what the realistic timescales are with these sorts of organisations!

That sucks! Did u leave your job straight after receiving the offer from them? Thats quite annoying then cause why put up post if theres no vacancy to fill straightaway..

No definitely didn’t leave my job as I’d heard so many being put on the offer ready list. Also I’m about to go on mat leave which complicates it even if they do offer me one now!

Hi all... This is some long thread!
So 1... Don't give up everyone... I applied last year for an inspector post, was successful at interview but put on the offer ready list... Along with a lot of others. I lateral applied for a LA inspector and got it!!!! So now I'm wondering how long the onboarding process is currently... Sort of want to celebrate openly and get ticking the days off!!

Congratulations @Yawninmum and @JollyKaw ! My interview is in Nottingham which is about 1.5 hours drive from me. I’m not the most confident of drivers in areas I don’t know so I’m feeling a little nervous about it but it’s quicker than the train. Now time to prepare for the interview 😬🤞

Has anyone heard back from the recent round of interviews for ASC Inspector?

Nothing yet here, but from what I gathered on the dates to pick for interview, they are interviewing most of this month. I've seen other posts in here (at the start) saying anything between 3-5 weeks after interview.

Hi Everyone, I have had my interview for the central network. Is anyone here for the same network?

I was informed that they are interviewing for the whole of this month, and I can hear from them possibly after the 3rd of August.

Thank you! Nice to have some idea on when we might hear from them. Did anyone ask how many they are looking for? I assume, a few, as they mentioned groups for the training side, etc.

Those of you who recently had interviews, how long after initially applying for the job did you hear you had an interview?

Ive had quite a journey, was on the offer ready list for RC but the 12 months for that has now passed. Then also on the interview ready list for a SC inspector role. I’ve just applied for a MH inspector role so I’m hoping I might hear something back.

i was meant to go for interview today :( but i had to prioritise my wedding for tomorrow AHHHH MAYBE NEXT TIME! please let me know the results for u guys!

Applied for the role in early April, written assessment in mid-May, received written test results in mid-June, interview held in mid July. Waiting to hear from them. As I have mentioned before, they said we can hear from them after the 3rd of August.
