Looking for people from the previous thread that closed as must of been full?

@Whitestar 5: I have just finished a full cereal bowl full of dry roasted peanuts!! I think I may need to attempt a diet for the first time in my life ... all this lockdown is not good for my chunky thighs. hahahaha.

@xflutterbyx: I had a look yesterday re. clearing the system - Derrrrrrr couldn't find anything to do it and all 'my hints' say I have no virus. I'll try again this evening.

I cleared the browser just before Xmas. I am tempted no switch this laptop off later and leave it open - I am not going anywhere so it will be safe as houses .

I meant leave it 'open' and ready to go!!

@xflutterbyx Lol ,with truffles in mind, at first glance I thought you were referring to eatable cookies.

@danblack87, there's no way I could eat a full bowl of coated peanuts, but they are probably better for you than truffles. Sorry I can't help with your laptop issues, as I said, my PC is a dinosaur and I've never owned a laptop. I tend to just Google things if I have a problem though and my foot pedal connected easily enough via DICT8's instructions.

I couldn't cope without a foot pedal, I use a desktop PC as don't like the keyboards on laptops. @Whitestar5 I have eaten four chocolate biscuits when I am supposed to be on slimming world........
On a different subject, anyone have any ideas what they would like me to name the new thread?

I think the thread should be renamed for tomorrow evening or Wednesday.

@Whitestar5 - I agree, if we call it the same (Pay with DICT8) some of the other people who we lost before might find their way back, as it seemed to work last time. Also it did attract new people as well.

I am not too sure about "DICT8 Happy Tappers"....!

@Gally123 Haha yes, more like DICT8 Unhappy Disgruntled Tappers.

My only thought with Dict8 in the subject may get the ones back that were actually not transcribers before (proof readers etc) that we seem to have managed to shake off at the moment

@Chrissols if we make it more general such as "Home typists" we could get people from other companies as well (which could be interesting or could be distracting).

We do all work for DICT8 even if at times lately it may not feel like we are doing much work.

@Gally123, I agree "Home typists" might give us more options workwise, I think we all need options at the moment !!

I don't mind what it's called as long as I can find it - @Chrissols would it be possible to post the link on here before we move over so we can all find it?

Also, I quite like the 'non-transcribers' finding us, it makes it VERY interesting and I do not for one minute think that they haven't already found us.

Will sort it tomorrow, and as the general consensus seems to be for dict8 title I will name as near to this one so easily findable 😊

Thanks for setting that up @Chrissols. It has been very informative and most amusing to be in touch with other Dict8ers - especially when we have so little communication from Dict8 these days. The opportunity to chat, moan, share concerns, help each other and, most importantly, have a laugh has been invaluable.
