Zack Polanski is making things bigger yet again so another thread needed.

Well things have developed rather a lot since the start. ZP started out as being another sexist guy in politics - no shortage those around, but he thought he could take it to a new level and he proved he could do it.

The Green threads have followed his rise from the start of with the Hypnoboobs scandal and much more. There is also:

Mothin Ali as deputy Leader who clearly doesn't believe in trans thinking, but cleverly sidesteps round talking about it, has always had a issues with encouraging racist violence and is now encouraging people to sue the Green party if they attempt to stop them saying racist stuff.

The other deputy Rachel Millward represents the posh rich faction of the Greens who manages to sounding like Reform when opposing Asylum Seekers in her area, but at the same time saying we are too harsh on immigrants in general. Obviously she also doesn't believe women are a thing. Yet she is the least crazy when violence is concerned compared to ZP, and Mothin.

Hypnoboobs scandal got worse recently when it became clear from BBC footage ZP actively believed in the Hypnoboobs thesis rather than being tricked into it.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cn9enygvezeo

Alongside all this there is constant ongoing attacks on biological reality from the party in interviews and in policy.

Now in the last week or so after a longstanding spate of antisemetic rhetoric from some Greens during the election campaign and ZP downplaying it. We have synagogues, schools, ambulances attacked, two Jewish people dead and ZP berating unarmed police for risking their lives in fighting a violent killer who was still armed with a knife things have come to a crisis point.

The Greens are becoming ever more sinister with dozens of candidates sounding like they are seventies NF supporters with comments about uppity women and Jewish power. The huge drama over a crazy motion which they were trying to pass against Israel at conference alongside a motion to prevent women having sports will surface again their September conference.

It seems likely after next week The Greens are going to be running a bunch of councils which doesn't bode well after their antics in Bristol.

Yet there is hope, in Bristol women are fighting back_: www.mumsnet.com/talk/womens_rights/5455053-bristol-council-is-about-to-be-sued_

The fight back from Green Women's Declaration, ( https://www.greenwomensdeclaration.uk/ ) continues and the court cases against GPEW from Emma Bateman and Shahrar Ali are developing, both getting through legal delaying tactics as they move to trial. Gardening is needed. These cases if successful could be dramatic in their impact.

First thread - where you can follow the rise of ZP and lots of other scandal

Second Thread:
https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/womens_rights/5456759-sexismother-issues-in-the-green-party-england-wales-discussion-thread-2?

Note the Scottish Greens which are a separate party to the Green Party England/Wales have their own thread for all their sexist drama. They split off because GPEW didn't hate biology and women/gays enough at the time.

Possible Eliot /Eleonora Folan/ stats for Lefties.

The Shia teachings, or some edict believes that the explanation for same sex attraction 🧲 is that someone was born into the wrong body. So you have gay or lesbian couples having to have one partner transition otherwise they get executed

I think their 'pity me, I'm such a victim' mentality has warped their world view so much it prevents them from seeing reality. They've invented the drama of danger, with them playing the lead role, they're not capable of knowing what real danger is.
I would love it if they all went to live in Iran, we'll do an exchange all those women who have been beaten, tortured and disfigured by the Iranian Regime can come here and the me, me, me Gender Appropriators can go there.
Win, win, except for them of course but tough, some people have got to learn the hard way.

Lalgarh · 03/10/2026 07:22

If they think GC feminists are a threat to Trans people just wait till they hear about the Global Majority Greens and the Gaza Bros like Baggy Khan.

From 2014 about Iran. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-29832690

It's not official government policy to force gay men or women to undergo gender reassignment but the pressure can be intense. In the 1980's the founder of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Khomeini, issued a fatwa allowing gender reassignment surgery - apparently after being moved by a meeting with a woman who said she was trapped in a man's body.

Shabnam - not her real name - who is a psychologist at a state-run clinic in Iran says some gay people now end up being pushed towards surgery. Doctors are told to tell gay men and women that they are "sick" and need treatment, she says. They usually refer them to clerics who tell them to strengthen their faith by saying their daily prayers properly.

But medical treatments are also offered. And because the authorities "do not know the difference between identity and sexuality", as Shabnam puts it, doctors tell the patients they need to undergo gender reassignment.
In many countries this procedure involves psychotherapy, hormone treatment and sometimes major life-changing operations - a complex process that takes many years.
That's not always the case in Iran.

"They show how easy it can be," Shabnam says. "They promise to give you legal documents and, even before the surgery, permission to walk in the street wearing whatever you like. They promise to give you a loan to pay for the surgery."

It's not even like this difference between crescent and rainbow is new.

When RESPECT were gadding about in the 2000s there was a very clear awareness that the trots were actively cuddling up to The most conservative elements in society with the Muslim Association of Britain and wishing away the more reactionary views on gays (Trans was barely a Thing then) in order to secure votes from the Muslim community as a building block for power. It lead to Lindsey Germans infamous quote that protection of gay rights was "not a shibboleth". It arguably is why this whole thing about allyship developed, and at least by the time of Your Party last year there was active resistance to how frankly right wing the Gaza Independents were.

The gay people pushed to change their gender

In Iran, gay people are often told they are trapped in the 'wrong body' and pressured into changing their gender - and sometimes the only way out is to run.

'Transing' the gay away, sounds like a conversion practice to me. We need to ban that.

Oh no pesky women are being unsafe near the conference:

Meanwhile inside the Conference the Green Party Women stall is very Purple and Green.

Someone let the women inside!!!!

Even worse one of the women inside is Julie Bindel.

NB the ban on GWD is illegal and in fact they have done it again with no reason when there is an ongoing court case is so stupid it could only come from the Greens. They have no real justification beyond the fact they hate women. The Greens are going to lose that case.

Meanwhile the Muslim Greens and deputy leader Mothin Ali are celebrated they also clearly believe that women are a thing they just are not that important but they are not unsafe somehow.

Weird how Ali and IW are two sides of the same women hating coin, I wouldn't give a tuppence for either of them.

'Animah Kosai, the membership officer of the Global Majority Greens pressure group, wrote: “You’d be quite surprised at how Iran, following Islamic teachings, is far more liberal when it comes to trans identity and abortions, compared to Texas, or, even culturally, the UK.”'

'...experts called on the Iranian authorities to repeal the ‘Youthful Population and Protection of the Family’ law, which was ratified by Iran’s Guardian Council on the first of November.
The law, said the experts, severely restricts access to abortion, contraception, voluntary sterilization services and related information, in direct violation of women’s human rights under international law, and contains a provision stating that if carried out on a large scale, abortion would fall under the crime of “corruption on earth” and carry the death penalty.'

Iran death penalty threat for abortion unlawful: UN rights experts

A new Iranian law that raises the prospect of the death penalty for abortion has been condemned by independent human rights experts, who have declared that is in “clear contravention of international law”.

https://read.dukeupress.edu/world-policy-journal/article-abstract/31/1/28/84979/Trans-ition-in-Iran?redirectedFrom=fulltext

'Most people who experience same-sex attraction would not immediately think to undergo sex reassignment surgery. But in Iran, the options between a homosexual existence and a transsexual existence offer little real choice. Homosexuality, under certain circumstances, is punishable by death. Transsexuality, on the other hand, is considered a legitimate health problem'

Transitions: Transgender Rights in Pakistan and Iran

In May 2018, the Pakistani parliament passed the Transgender Person (Protection of Rights) Act, enacting strong protections for transgender rights.

ArabellaScott · 03/10/2026 15:52

(I can't seem to delete a link to the berkeley review article, which is not the one quoted.)

ArabellaScott · 03/10/2026 15:54

So, Iran is 'liberal' in the sense that one could avoid the death penalty for homosexuality by choosing to identify as transgender instead. And 'liberal' in the sense that abortion might be considered legal if there is a risk to the mother's life, or some other limited circumstances.

Okay, they can invite trans people to go live in progressive Iran. I wonder how many would take up the offer?

Perhaps that group of “Green activists” could go with them. I’m sure they’d all have a lovely time.

Here's a new word for today: 'homonationalism'

https://muslimgreens.greenparty.org.uk/

'Section 8: Understanding How Homonationalism Harms Muslims and Queer Justice, and its Colonial Roots
Homonationalism has become a key aspect of how queer people’s struggle for liberation and equal rights is being appropriated by bad-faith actors to marginalise Muslims. Homonationalism is the use of LGBTQ+ rights campaigns to justify harming racialised, Global Majority background communities and migrants, to distract people from the systemic violence being committed against marginalized communities, including queer people, around the world. It is often specifically wielded against Muslim communities, arguing that Muslims and Islam as a whole are uniquely queerphobic, and a threat to the safety of queer people in the UK, both through political and cultural influence through to physical harm.
The idea that Muslim identity and Islam is in some way based around hating and marginalizing queer communities is itself a form of Islamophobia and anti Muslim hate. It presents the view that not only are Muslims intrinsically queerphobic, but also erases the existence of queer Muslims and conceals the continued harm being done to queer people by the UK government, the media, and the far-right, particularly around trans rights.
Often associated with radical misrepresentations of Islam through extremist ideologies and countries with harsh penal codes against those identifying as LGBTQIA+, while there are Muslims who hold queerphobic views that contradict Islamic values of peace, respect and harmony this does not represent the mainstream Muslims living in the United Kingdom. Islam should not be used as an excuse by such individuals to justify queerphobia.
Queerphobic legislation in many Muslim majority countries is deeply tied to colonialism. The British Empire’s ambition to transform different cultures and societies into ones that mirrored the forms of violence and oppression that existed in the UK at the time produced the vast majority of queerphobic legislation in colonies in South Asia, the Middle East and Africa. To propose that Muslims are uniquely queerphobic because of Islam denies acknowledging how modern day queerphobia is strongly rooted in the British Empire, culture, and society.'

That's a lot of words for 'we really need Muslim votes to hang on to our council seats' isn't it?

RedToothBrush · Yesterday 04:37

Well it may be that the Green Party is facing a bit of an implosion from extremist elements.

There's a motion due today that threatens to split MPs and the senior leadership from voting members. There's a fair chance Hypnotits is in trouble if it passes. Especially if he doesn't win the up coming by-election.

It's an anti Zionism motion which looks suspiciously like anti-Semitism.

There's a bunch of statements gone out today from the MPs opposing the motion. They are concerned it will pass.

Worth watching what happens and what the fall out is.

Islam is the coloniser, there were many religions practised in the middle east before the people were forced to convert to Islam, at the point of a sword. Not much difference to how Christianity spread all over the world really.
To claim that Islam isn't homophobic is a non-starter, only idiot political parties (Labour, Greens, etc) who are more concerned with securing votes than telling the truth would pretend otherwise.
