Grace Campbell - Alastair Campbell

If I have missed any threads already started about this then apologies.

I am literally lost for words on the post she added to her podcast along with Charlie Craggs.

My own daughter has been lost to this cause. I am hoping I get her back. How utterly vile can a young woman be - Grace Campbell - towards women who have worked so hard to give her such privilege. I might be ugly and a freak Grace with awful hair. But I am not a mean girl.

We can expect this video to be pulled. Can anyone Winx download it?

Charlie Craggs: “Put me in the Men’s: I can handle it and I can handle your husbands. I will give your husbands what they’re not getting at home with you. With your ugly haircuts. I have bigger problems than where I go wee in public”

Well someone has a misguidedly high opinion of themselves.

Still at least the first five words they uttered is true, even if admitted unwittingly.

This kind of comment is so revealing and so funny. These men think they're ever so alluring!

What's DP not getting at home with me?
I can't cook a meal without burning a bit.
Can't feign interest in footie league tables and goal difference.
Can't mow the lawn in a straight line.

If you can handle all that Charlie, knock yourself out! 😂

I'm skimming the transcript.

Its incredibly tedious, puerile shite. This woman is supposed to be a comedian? What does the bloke do?

It’s 2026.

Men are not the prize.

We don’t trash other women’s looks.

being the side piece is not the win they seem to think it is.

my mind is a bit blown tbh

(I’m her age; these are just things that make me go 🤢).

Oblahdeeoblahdoe · 17/04/2026 22:14

I'm sure her dad must be very proud of her. I won't fucking find out because I'm never going to listen to his podcast again.

Jamclag · 17/04/2026 22:18

Grace Campbell is an idiot.
But her looks have nothing to do with it, that's the whole fucking point. The posters throwing out insults about her appearance are completely undermining the GC argument. Women need to stop getting sucked into this kind of reductive pettiness it only reinforces all the usual misogynistic tropes about women's value.

hholiday · 17/04/2026 22:31

I’m not interested in engaging with this fool, so I’m not going to read what she’s said. Given who her parents are, her limitations don’t surprise me.

Only I can’t believe anyone barring creepy men still looks at pictures of women doing amazing things and thinks it’s fine to critiques their clothes and hair. When I saw the pictures of the court step celebrations, I saw (and felt) sheer joy – nothing else. FWS – thank you. You are brave, beautiful people and I could never imagine having the impact on women’s lives that you have had.

RobinEllacotStrike · 17/04/2026 22:37

is she really a comedian?

I mean she is a joke, but I can’t imagine her being actually funny.

ArabellaScott · 17/04/2026 22:38

There's a very long description of him taking a man home and the man leaving skid marks on his coach. It goes on. It's very dull.

Some extracts:

Grace Campbell: '...obviously we don't have to talk about this for very long but with what's going on at the moment like with these freaks -

Charlie Craggs: freaks.

Grace: No, with their ugly hair outside the Supreme Court - ugly, ugly.

Charlie Craggs: UGLY

Grace Campbell: Honestly ugly. Ugly. They are ugly with the worst and the worst clothes. and the worst views and they're just like not aspirational in any way. I don't want to be anywhere near them in a room with them.'

...

Grace Campbell: 'We are completely missing the main topic that men are predators.

Charlie Craggs: 'Yeah. Not trans women. We've done nothing. Most of us as well. I'm like, "Girl, I don't even like women."'. I'm like most of us though. Most of us are like fucking like gay boys pretransition who are now like hot slutty women. I'm like, "Girl, no offense. Look at me and look at all the women outside that Supreme Court. You think I'm interested in them? If that's their hair up there, what do you think it's saying down there, girly?'

...

Charlie Craggs: Like if we're going to start saying like, well, if you want to use a women's bathroom, you have to have a be a woman with long hair. And they're going to describe like you need to be wearing a dress and have your legs out, have your boobies out, and like you're going to it's going to become so prescriptive on how you have to be as a woman. And actually in a really sexist way of like if you want to be seen as a woman, you have to be wearing three articles of women's clothes. Like actually, women should be allowed to wear, but they also look at the [ __ ] women coming out of Supreme Court in their trousers! Girl, put a skirt on. Like honestly, like if you're going to be a woman, like look at me with my legs out today. But point being like ...

Grace Campbell: 'maybe see a hairdresser at some point'

What dreary people. They are apparently utterly obsessed with JK Rowling, and don't seem to have a single interesting thing to say.

Cringe. Just cringe!
And so many layers of cringe for her and her parents!

if that was my DD I’d be resentful of any school fees invested there - the mention of a 1980s comp by a PP was spot on!

Absolutely no school fees paid. Her mum is virulently against private education. I'd be extremely interested to know if they ever paid for private tutors, which many affluent left-wingers see as completely different. Of course they also made sure not to live in an area with no good comprehensive schools. Ms Campbell went to Parliament Hill School, which is a girls' school in the London Borough of Camden.

I wonder if she's ever had a job outside politics and the media. I hope there's no question of her ever standing for election. Given her connections. she'd have an excellent chance of getting a safe seat, I imagine. This would be fair enough if we were looking at someone of great ability, judgement and insight, but on the evidence of that clip that doesn't seem very likely.

I think they’re trying to be funny but I just think it doesn’t work. It’s too nasty. Most normal people will listen to that and not get most is meant sarcastically.
where was the bit about men only raping from sexual attraction? Armies literally use it during war to break women. Men rape corpses, babies and animals. They are very misinformed.

Apparently so, there is evidence of a tour.

Of course, how easily she’d have got a toe in the door without Daddy’s connections remains a matter of speculation.

I’m not sure who told her she was funny

ArabellaScott · 17/04/2026 22:47

The only reason anyone is listening to/watching this woman's boring youtube is, of course, because her father is Alistair Campbell.

Campbell is influential. His views are informed by his daughter.

And this is who she is and what she believes.

'AC: And I get, you know, I actually had a real falling out with somebody at an event not long ago because basically said that, you know, she said you’ve just been brainwashed, you’ve been brainwashed, and what do you mean I’ve been brainwashed, and then said, and you know, what do you know about it anyway, you're not a woman, and I said, and it’s true, my opinions on this have largely been formed by first of all understanding this is a debate that's being weaponized, so therefore don't rely too much on the media debate, try to dig into it a bit deeper, but then in terms of my opinions.

AC: I would say I've been, they've been informed by Grace my daughter and her friends, almost all of whom I think just found this judgment really quite alarming and dangerous. '

She always comes across as a smug brat. The absolute state of her congratulating herself on being a proper feminist while whining about how 'ugly' actual courageous admirable women are. Mortified for her. She needs to grow up

ArabellaScott · 17/04/2026 22:56

Let's hear from Grace's mum.

'I don't hate you, but you know, you can, can't you, be very irritating.'

Ain't nepotism wonderful? She's about as funny as genital warts.

SternJoyousBeev2 · 17/04/2026 23:03

Can you imagine the reaction if we referred to anyone as freaks? Literal genocide.

DontReplyAll · 17/04/2026 23:04

Two things about this interview really annoyed me:

  1. Cragg’s comments saying that JK Rowling should have given the £70k she gave to FWS to a women’s refuge etc. How can someone commenting on this be so ill informed. How is it possible to be speaking on this topic and not be aware the Ms Rowling has give hundreds of millions of pounds to charity, mostly women’s and children’s charities, and that’s before you even consider Beira’s Place.

  2. Campbell’s comments about FWS and supporters being “women with nothing better to do”. Is this what she really thinks of women? Is that what she thinks of her (pretty accomplished) mother and her friends? That they are old and bored?
I found that far more offensive than her childish comments about looks, clothes and hair.

From listening to their podcasts, it seems that both Alistair Campbell and Rory Stewart have been influenced by friends and family members on women’s rights.

No wonder their podcast segments on the topic have been so incredibly disappointing if this is the level of debate that swayed them.

MidlifeConfusion1 · 17/04/2026 23:04

i'm a bit puzzled why this is getting so much attention
And people seem to be very upset

I've seen some clips
They didn't really say anything

I was expecting something shocking from the way people were talking

They're totally idiots yes

is it because she's Alistair Campbell's daughter that people are expecting something else

I don't like him, but he's a very intelligent man

Anyway, I don't get it. I don't get what people are upset about. I don't get their conversation to be honest. That probably just marks me out as old but they don't seem to be saying anything?

MidlifeConfusion1 · 17/04/2026 23:05

to be clearer
Why is this conversation between two idiots attracting so much attention online?

Of course she has a podcast. <sigh>
