If I have missed any threads already started about this then apologies.

I am literally lost for words on the post she added to her podcast along with Charlie Craggs.

My own daughter has been lost to this cause. I am hoping I get her back. How utterly vile can a young woman be - Grace Campbell - towards women who have worked so hard to give her such privilege. I might be ugly and a freak Grace with awful hair. But I am not a mean girl.

I believe the full interview is on YouTube. Also, I don't think this is recent, but has been doing the rounds today.

@ForWomenScot @JuliaHB1 @campbellclaret For anyone who hasn't seen Here's them saying this. I feel certain Campbell won't have the courage to face you and defend this.

The clip is appalling. As well as @DwarfPalmetto 's pretty accurate summary, I'd add:

They think rape is about sexual attraction /flattery (and therefore that only 'attractive' people get sexually assaulted and therefore all of us who are past our prime are therefore safe or should be flattered if anyone assaults us).

They think the most important thing about being female is about being good looking. Almost as if they really really really subscribe to tedious gender stereotypes rather than allowing for gender non-conformity. It's so backward and 1950s housewife dressed up as 'progressive'.

The FWS women look lovely (just not like 20yo students who have never had to think for themselves in life). @BlueLegume you are awesome.

I really don't understand how educated people can possibly not see the misogyny and sexism inherent in gender ideology. I appreciate they've been protected from some of this by battles won by the women who went before (just like the rest of us benefitted from the efforts of whose who won us the vote LESS THAN A CENTURY AGO) but surely it is not that much of a leap of imagination to realise why sex based anti-discrimination provisions might still be necessary.

BlueLegume · 17/04/2026 20:24

@lifeinthelastlane no idea re the hair. She called people ugly, on repeat. Not terribly ‘ be kind’. It was a hateful recording.

I have no idea how you identify. That is on you.

I think you think I posted something different to what I think I posted 😳😂

Theeyeballsinthesky · 17/04/2026 21:12

im reminded of the quote "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt"

what an embarrassingly silly spiteful woman

YourSassyPanda · 17/04/2026 21:14

Heaven forbid there might be more substance to a woman than her looks. More a failure on Grace’s part than on yours, op.

My transcript -
Grace Campbell: what's going on at the moment with these freaks ...
Charlie Craggs: Freaks, freaks with their ugly hair outside the Supreme Court, ugly, ugly.
Grace Campbell: They are ugly with the worst hair and the worst clothes and the worst views. Not aspirational in any way. I don't want to be anywhere near them.

To add, these 2 daft misogynists did all this and more while declaring THEMSELVES to be “actual” feminists- as opposed to bitter ugly hateful terfs.

it was very shocking to hear & watch.

they really think they are the good guys, totally deranged & unhinged. Willfully ignorant of any substantive facts.

and her Dad is so proud.

They are mind blowingly ridiculous.

RobinEllacotStrike · 17/04/2026 21:22

They looked ridiculously ignorant- imagine thinking only good looking women deserve rights, all the while claiming to be a real feminist.

she really is spectacularly stupid.

This is not how to counter a misguided young (ish) woman making a fool of herself.

How she looks is absolutely irrelevant. Which is the point.

Animal comparisons are also not appropriate.

I’m still confused by the comment that these women “are not aspirational”.

Is that what women are meant to be?

Anyway I’m going to unfollow this thread now, not because I think it’s a bad thread but because I’m tired of thinking about GC and of seeing her on the screenshot!

We can expect this video to be pulled. Can anyone Winx download it?

Charlie Craggs: “Put me in the Men’s: I can handle it and I can handle your husbands. I will give your husbands what they’re not getting at home with you. With your ugly haircuts. I have bigger problems than where I go wee in public”

Anyone got a husband who will go all doolally about a bloke in a frock in the gents?
Me neither.

This. ^ There's some hilarious irony in the fact that this Grace person is berating women for their looks. Pot kettle black ... Look in the mirror Gracey dear. 😂 And yeah, nepotism. She wouldn NEVER be doing what she is doing (being tedious unfunny and pathetic and presenting as a COMEDIAN) if she didn't have a famous father. FACT.

SisterTeatime · 17/04/2026 21:51

What a fucking idiot. And quite frankly, no oil painting herself.

Idk who she is and I’m vaguely aware of who alistair Campbell is.
why do you even care what she thinks? Like others have said, it’s clearly coming from a place of insecurity (I’ve never heard a beautiful woman go on about any other woman’s looks so negatively) and she doesn’t seem intelligent enough to actually engage with the arguments.
good example of why private school parents are often better off pissing the money up a wall instead

ArabellaScott · 17/04/2026 21:53

Commenting on her looks is just lowering yourself to her level.

It perpetuates the limiting myth that women's worth relies on their looks.

Her looks are not relevant.

Rise above.

It seems to be a recurring fantasy existence some of these men have.

and suggesting JKR should set up a refuge for women.

She's not heard of Beira's Place it seems

nois · 17/04/2026 22:00

Id be so embarrassed about this if I was her parent. What a silly person. It’s kind of cringinglly funny and completely lacking in any self awareness. They’ve raised a stereotype!

You must have meant to respond to someone else. At no point did I say I CARE what she thinks. 😆 I know who Alistair Campbell is of course, but as for her....? She could walk down my street in her pyjamas and I wouldn't recognise her. She is hilariously irrelevant! Zero talent, like many nepo babies!

People have the right to say what they want. Including the fact that there is some hilarious irony in her bashing other womens looks.

I’ll be a mean girl. Grace, you fugly. And likely reliant on your dad for cash. Well done.

KnottyAuty · 17/04/2026 22:06

Cringe. Just cringe!
And so many layers of cringe for her and her parents!

if that was my DD I’d be resentful of any school fees invested there - the mention of a 1980s comp by a PP was spot on!

Yeah op. Op sorry that was for you.
i wouldn’t take anyone saying these sorts of things very seriously. And i certainly wouldn’t be taking their taste in looks very seriously either

ArabellaScott · 17/04/2026 22:07

It's nothing to do with not being mean, ffs.
