Grace Campbell - Alastair Campbell

If I have missed any threads already started about this then apologies.

I am literally lost for words on the post she added to her podcast along with Charlie Craggs.

My own daughter has been lost to this cause. I am hoping I get her back. How utterly vile can a young woman be - Grace Campbell - towards women who have worked so hard to give her such privilege. I might be ugly and a freak Grace with awful hair. But I am not a mean girl.

No idea what you're talking about. Care to elaborate?

PauliesWalnuts · 17/04/2026 18:53

Sorry I cancelled my X account cos Musk. Can you summarise?

Sparkletastic · 17/04/2026 18:55

Huh?

HermioneWeasley · 17/04/2026 18:57

Besides the point, but while they’re calling feminists “ugly”, do Grace and Charlie own mirrors?

anyway they’re disgusting misogynists.

DwarfPalmetto · 17/04/2026 19:08

My transcript -
Grace Campbell: what's going on at the moment with these freaks ...
Charlie Craggs: Freaks, freaks with their ugly hair outside the Supreme Court, ugly, ugly.
Grace Campbell: They are ugly with the worst hair and the worst clothes and the worst views. Not aspirational in any way. I don't want to be anywhere near them.

DwarfPalmetto · 17/04/2026 19:11

Grace Campbell is the daughter of Alistair Campbell and Fiona Millar.

HumphreyCobblers · 17/04/2026 19:11

I cannot bear to actually listen to what they say but have gleaned some of it from context. It must be a case of “we are good people so whatever we say is therefore good”. Just disgusting behaviour and makes me wonder what kind of conversations Grace listened to growing up if this is how she learned to speak of women.

popery · 17/04/2026 19:23

Good to confirm they don't have any argument against the actual issues though.
I'm sure the feminists will be absolutely gutted that an entitled creep doesn't like their hair....

Pleasantsort2 · 17/04/2026 19:30

Nasty wee dafties. The For WS women are amazing and will be remembered by future generations for what they have done for women. I don't even know who these two are. I know her da for the bold lies he told about Iraq that led to millions dead and his smug arsed face and his shite programme with the other smug arsed wanker.

Iamnotalemming · 17/04/2026 19:30

Ugly is as ugly does, girls

Wow, they have convinced me by the eloquence of their arguments! Clearly they are on the right side of history.

(What is it that I now believe?)

BlueLegume · 17/04/2026 19:35

Let us not get the nepotism baby pile on. I think Eve Hewson is fabulous. I think Liza Tarbuck is fabulous.

Grace Campbell - I am aghast, or am I. You had a great education. How did this end up being your opinion.

You do not know me. You called me ugly. You told me my hair was ugly. You discussed my clothing.

I might not look cool but I have worked a lifetime since the age of 12 with men feeling me up in working men’s clubs. Supermarkets - staff/customers thinking it is ok to comment on my looks. I wasn’t at an all girls selective school protected from boys. I was at a massive comprehensive school. I had no privilege.

It might be sensible to consider we do not all have your privilege. Or looks.

I don’t actually understand which women she’s dumping on, only that she thinks they’re unattractive.

Which doesn’t make her look that good, really.

Mochudubh · 17/04/2026 19:43

I was going to ask "Who cares what a couple of 12 year olds think"? but that's crediting them with too much maturity.

It's more like 3 year olds shouting "You're a poo face"!

BlueLegume · 17/04/2026 19:52

@Mochudubh Grace Campbell is 32. No excuses.

I get your point completely. But she is 32.

Her attitude is appalling. I do like your point.

So she and he (the one on the left) think that the defining feature of women who've dared stand up for their rights are that they're ugly and haven't complied with fashion ideals. Even if that were true (and, if you're reading this, women of FWS et al (who their comments seemed to be aimed at) it's bloody not true, you always look fabulous!) so what? Women are only allowed an opinion or worth their rights if they look like a pornified doll or a polished teen supermodel?

Beauty might be skin deep but the sheer awfulness of these two goes right to the fucking bone.

Imagine actually putting all that out there on the internet for everyone to see, for ever and ever. Mummy and Daddy must be so proud Hmm

EmpressDomesticatednottamed · 17/04/2026 20:06

I wonder if GC has read The Woman In White, in which Wilkie Collins writes a clever female character who of course has to be ugly, and a super drippy childlike delicate one who just happens to be beautiful.
Although I suspect the point would go whistling over her head.

To quote Judge Judy, "Beauty fades and dumb is forever"

BlueLegume · 17/04/2026 20:15

Not lost on me Grace Campbell’s initials are GC.

Also not lost on me that we as older women probably do make younger women face some reality of how we don’t look as good as they do,

I’m really interested as to how someone named Grace, a lovely name, born into immense privilege, never having met me, thinks it is acceptable to describe me as ugly. Horrible hair and laugh at her colleagues interpretation of my pubic hair.

Perhaps a week in my 1970/80 comp might give her an idea of reality.

No doubt Alastair Campbell and Rory S will be moaning this thread. They have been invited to join many great women today.

My hair is exactly like Grace's. Does that mean I'm a TRA?

Oh I'm sure he'll be denigrating all us angry bitter TERFs who've said hurty words about his daughter and her stunning/brave/oppressed/vulnerable trans friend, while Rory nods along.

Apparently Grace is a 'comedian'. We've all seen that sort of 'comedian' - you know, the ones where everyone's laughing just a bit too hard and it's all about as entertaining as a smear test.

BlueLegume · 17/04/2026 20:24

@lifeinthelastlane no idea re the hair. She called people ugly, on repeat. Not terribly ‘ be kind’. It was a hateful recording.

I have no idea how you identify. That is on you.
