Oh goodness! I read her thread at the beginning (unless this is something new). She seemed to think that she was sensible enough to have her IUD taken out in case she wanted babies later. She didn't seem to realise that she should only remove it when she was ready.

I got the impression she might not have consented to having it in the first place.

And her laissez-faire "if it happens, it happens" attitude hasn't helped.

Me too Boily. Knitting I can do, crocheting not so much.

If it's genuine, it's worrying. I kept being reminded of a post on the local FB where one of those groups went after someone who'd tried to meet up with a young teenager who didn't really exist.

It was very obvious that the person they'd gone after was a vulnerable older teen on the spectrum. He kept crying and saying 'I just wanted a girlfriend.'

Her mother must be tearing her hair out!

Now knitting I'm not even going near. It's the two stick thing. My hands don't play ball.

I lived in Hong Kong when I was little, looked after by a chinese nanny, and could never manage to hold and control two chopsticks. So knitting needles never stood a chance.

She's resolutely denying and minimising that she's a catastrophe. Her previous thread was "how to dispute a psychologists diagnosis"

She's been banned from multiple dating sites. I swear she'll end up being damaged and it's like watching someone set themselves on fire. It's so sad.

Ooh, a gerbil-shaped balloon! I've always wanted one of those. Maud is awestruck by it.

Is she shocked at seeing the balloon or seeing her mother twinning with her in a dress?

It's definitely the balloon. She suggested the mother-daughter thing. I'm not one for hats, but who could refuse that cute little face anything?
