One man in a women's space can cause havoc for all those women. That he's a minority in that room does nothing to reduce his impact or the women's experience of him. All the people doing this are men with trans identities.

The behaviour from this minority is the issue. What is the argument here? Let in the nice ones? Women don't want men in their spaces, end of. That's the behaviour that's causing the friction. Stop the behaviour and the friction disappears.

You're missing a point that the sex class MEN (XY) includes a lot of individuals who are, in various ways, threats to women.

You can't tell which one is a threat and which one isn't just by looking.

So you keep them ALL out of the women's changing rooms, women's loos, women's prisons.

It's very simple really.

It's not about demonising.

Its about giving a specific group of men special privileges ... ie access to women's spaces.

There were zero grounds to give this group of men these privileges in the first place. Why should anyone have access to single sex spaces that are not their own?

And now that we can see these privileges are being abused, are you going to admit it was wrong to give these men these privileges in the guest place?

Or are women going to continue to suffer the consequences of people like you making serious errors of judgement and not being able to admit it?

The men that ignore clear boundaries (e.g. by going into spaces labelled as for the opposite sex than theirs) and the law are probably more likely to be a risk to women. Bad men start by jacking off in public, then often escalate from there (Wayne Couzens committed the crime of indecent exposure, was not stopped and we all know what he did next).

THIS is why NO MEN IN WOMENS SPACES is the only way, and is also the law.

The point is to decide whether policies that allow male people into female changing rooms are reasonable.

I think it's screamingly obvious that they aren't and that female people, regardless of gender identity, should be permitted to have single-sex spaces that don't include male people regardless of gender identity.

Part of the reason this woman was willing to confront was because she has her boyfriend with her. When the “entire minority” you speak of refuses to speak out in condemnation of men like this, they are complicit. Ah, a guy, surprise surprise.

Why shouldn't men commit sex crimes in women's changing rooms? NumbersGuy can't think of any reason and is suitably indignant that women might make a fuss over such things.

I'd imagine that in most cases the police would be more interested in the more serious and harmful crime.

I would also imagine that in the case of a crime being committed e.g. murder, sexual harassment, the police might be willing to overlook minor misdemeanors such as videoing in the cause of citizens obtaining evidence of such serious crimes.
