None of this is a good look especially when the feelings of men takes precedence over the needs of women.

They aren't making themselves an attractive employer for women are they!

Maria looks so composed, sat upright, checking her notes in the gallery row behind Andy Letton. Letton's bundle file is notably unopened and untouched on the witness desk as he answers questions fromLeonardo Uk's counsel.

I'm so glad for MK that she has been able to show that side of her self, as well as the distress she showed in earlier questioning.
It emphasises the impact it had on her.

It sounds like they would much prefer it if there weren't any women there. At least not those bothersome, menstruating, menopausal, female kind.

wantmorenow · 02/10/2025 12:22

Wish they would sort the bloody sound out. It's not that hard to ensure proceedings can actually be followed as permitted by law. It's giving me a headache.

ST Culture of org?
AR Lots of change at Edin site and change of culture. We have v inclusive culture. Invested heavily to create this environment. Now an office-type environment. Very inclusive.

Thanks to whoevs, , for continuity thread ready for when this one runs out, there's a bit of space left here so let's fill it up first!

Boiledbeetle · 02/10/2025 12:24

Basically he's saying Inclusive changes are to accommodate the youth population of employees.

No thought it seems for their existing grown up staff, or the female youth who don't want to be in the loo with a middle aged man

AR [missed] We can see change in dynamic in workforce. Some there a long time. Then apprentices etc.

Yes, but he wasn't when his photo was posted, and we couldn't have known he was going to be the witness.
Also - posting the photo three times and not posting anyone else's photo.

Like I said, I have researched the case well. I really don't mind at all if mumsnet remove the photos because the integrity of the board matters to me. But I am posting in good faith after one of the mods came onto the board the other day and specifically helped me work out how to post photos.

Sometimes we will annoy each other by posting things that others find irritating, and I want to be sensitive to that too, but I won't act immediately on orders to stop posting things, without a compelling reason, because that could leave the board open to interference by bad actors (not you, but eg visitors from companies who want to restrict what information is allowed out in the public domain).

He sounds a bit more relaxed now. He’s not sufficiently prepared for NC’s X though. 😬
She could probably make a grown man cry!

sassanach · 02/10/2025 12:25

i might have to switch this off and just read TT cause the sound is giving me a headache.

Peregrina · 02/10/2025 12:26

Very inclusive.

Where 25% of the workforce are made to feel uncomfortable!

Boiledbeetle · 02/10/2025 12:26

He's going down the corporate PR waffle as evidence route

Jimmyneutronsforehead · 02/10/2025 12:26

I hope she brings back Pete the Plumber.

Let's not forget, when he started back in the 70's they all had a topless calendar and discussed page 3 of The Sun!

They didn't try to be inclusive then when it was just Women.
