These threads are currently being used to follow the case that is taking place at Westminster Magistrate's Court over the 4th and 5th September, but will also be following the subsequent fallout of Graham's arrest at Heathrow on his return to the UK for this court case earlier this week.

He is currently on trial for alleged harassment of a trans identified male and criminal damage to the man's phone. The charges stem from a series of events in October 2024 at Battle of Ideas.

Free Speech Union are running a fundraiser to support a claim against the Met in reference to the Heathrow arrest. Just search FSU and Graham Linehan fundraiser and it should be easy to find. Currently reached 93% of its target.

Most of the mainstream media have reported on the case, but none have covered it as well as Nick Wallis. Follow him on X for live posting from the court.

It also occurred to me that the use of a boom box was deliberate in that boom implies explosion.

Truly scummy behaviour.

I love the Baroness has written a letter that includes the word 'fuck'. She must have had to disinfect her keyboard.

I mind my language around her on X - don't want to be blocked.

I suppose it will be good preparation for Sir Mark if he's going to have to face Shabana Mahmood turning the air blue. I don't imagine she thinks this a good use of police resources, and she won't hesitate to say so.

"He’d previously served in Kirkcaldy, but had been moved to Edinburgh in 1996, because colleagues in Fife no longer wanted to work with him after he started turning up dressed as a woman and demanding frightened workmates call him Susan."

Dear Lord...I know that we in Fife can be a bit obstreperous, but did we really deserve "Lynsay Watson", "Paris Green", "Katie Dolatowski" and "Tiffany Scott"?

Not to mention the waste of money on the Upton debacle...

Is Kirkcaldy some kind of a lodestone for this nonsense? ["Paris" committed his crime in Glenrothes, ten minutes away from Kirkcaldy; "Tiffany" was from a village between the two towns.]

It is quite something to learn how these psychos were putting fake bombs under cars. You’d have to be a psycho to put what look like bombs under someone’s car. I didn’t realise quite how nasty these guys are. It feels bad people, with mental problems, were/are being let loose to do what they will, with the added travesty of the police not only protecting them, but assisting them in their persecution of those they decide to target. Feels dystopian.

Edited

Yes I found that incredibly chilling as well. I presume that was in the bundle of harassment that Glinner gave to the police that they dismissed.

Interesting that his lawyer is saying his birthdate is 2007, he's listed on Companies House as 2005, that means he's made a false declaration somewhere. I am all astonishment.

I haven’t read past this post, so sorry if this has been discussed already.

If SB dob is 2007, how old was he when he started hanging around FW, SH, etc? Isn’t that a huge red flag, given past convictions and publicly revealed propensities?

Now to catch up…

bonfireoftheverities · 06/09/2025 01:54

I was there yesterday afternoon. Stopped by the courthouse merely to gawk at whatever might be going on outside during one of the breaks. Nothing much. Then I decided to follow people inside, curious to see how far I'd get. Once past security I tagged along with a woman wearing a scarf with suffragette colours (thanks woman wearing suffragette colours!), figuring she'd know the way. Joined the queue and to my great surprise then found myself in the gallery. I've made a chart, in the spirit of AIBU's famous parking diagrams. It's terrible - not enough seats, for a start (it was mostly 5 in a row, not 4. But I'm not going to do another drawing.) KJK = Kellie-Jay Keen, ME = Me, MM = Maria MacLachlan (for awhile I was sitting next to her husband, who introduced me), SB = Sophia Brooks

There were a few minor dramas. At one point Kellie-Jay and another woman furiously left the gallery to consult with a steward outside; the woman later told me SB was whispering harassment of some sort (should I add allegedly?) The judge wasn't happy with the commotion. A bit later, when a mate of SB left, a woman waiting outside for an opening came in to take his seat, but SB objected, I think saying it was reserved. Which was BS.

The judge had admonished people not to laugh, but I'm afraid we broke protocol a few times. At one point @glinner, as part of his explanation of the word 'troon', said they're the sort who want to play with their tits while masturbating. Not a direct quote, but that's what it says in my notes. I haven't rtft yet, only skimmed, and don't see that mentioned. Sorry but it was horribly hilarious, and a few of us (mostly quietly) lost it.

I recognised Julia Long and talked to her afterwards; told her how happy I was to have been able to vote for her. She led a merry group of us to a Wetherspoon, where I got a chance to shake Graham's hand and grab a selfie with him.

@bonfireoftheverities what is security like there? And how busy was it? I would've thought it would be packed out now.

That's nice that you got to meet him. I'm surprised he doesn't go home and collapse in a heap. Honestly, I don't know how he is still standing - and that's before the airside arrest.

tobee · 06/09/2025 02:34

Very interesting @bonfireoftheverities

Reading that Times piece the bit that struck me most was GL saying the police were "overcompensating" after the institutionally racist rep. A generous way of looking at it.

Along with quite a few others I paid £1 for a three month subscription to the Courier and the Herald thanks to their excellent coverage of the Sandie Peggie tribunal. I get notifications from the courier every day. I realise they are reporting local court cases and not the non-newsworthy good people of Fife but it really is a daily list of horrors.

Headlines from 3 September:

999 call handler overheard distressing 40-minute assault at Dundee flat

(couldn’t they get police there sooner?)

Bungling police officers binned potential evidence at Fife murder scene and lied in statements

Man, 48, charged after Inverkeithing fire destroys six vehicles

Tuesday court roundup — Pensioner’s cruel cat trap

29 August:

Dundee school janitor who filmed children having sex gets ‘prison alternative’ sentence

Fife woman extorted cash from lover by threatening to expose affair

Community payback for Fife pervert who sent filthy messages to ‘child’ before live stream confrontation

Thursday court roundup — Breakfast-time booze and kitchen blaze

Tooled-up ex-husband gets jail warning for terrifying rampage in Perthshire

Those are just a couple of days I haven’t deleted yet, there’s plenty far worse. It’s not a great advert for anyone considering relocating to the area. My DH grew up in Fife and was so badly bullied as well as being beaten with a belt by a schoolmaster his parents had to remove him to a school in Edinburgh.

Just caught up with all this, and have a couple of questions
(a) It reads that glinner won the Pronouns-Off (prosecutor says she, glinner replies with he). What was the impression of those who heard it?
(b) A pp said glinner came across as tin foil hat wearing. Written down, this mostly wasn’t the case for me, but given his recent Ian Doherty and Joe Rogan interviews I can imagine it. Can anyone provide a courtroom assessment.
(c) The tweets give the impression of SB being rather unreliable and glinner candid in his answers, was that the case, or was it more nuanced/complicated?

EweSurname · 06/09/2025 07:42

The man who disrupted the FWS rally this week by blaring his music and who was protected by police to do so has now reported Susan dalgety from FWS for breaking his umbrella, despite lots of footage showing he arrived with a broken umbrella and she’s now being investigated by the police.

The asymmetry on policing is astonishing.

If it weren’t for the stress and inconvenience to Susan, it would be great to see this one in court as a companion piece to the GL debacle.

AMansAManForAllThat · 06/09/2025 08:02

I’m getting so confused about the cast of players.
Lindsay is the ex copper who’s agitating behind the scenes, directing the judicial review threats etc.
Sophie/Tarquin/Sparkle is the fairly young person who harasses GC people pushing their phone in their face etc, who Glinner is accused of harassing in return, including knocking his phone of his hand. We aren’t sure who Sophie is or what Sophie looks like? He may be very young (and hanging around with undesirables very early, possible grooming).

Is Sophie Molly someone else again? This Sophie doesn’t look young, and his face is freely available. I thought it was The Sophie, but presumably not.

And these guys seem to be the repressed gay variety of TiM- which was originally described as gentle and harmless as opposed to the more aggressive older AGP types.
How things change.

Have I got the right idea, broadly? It’s so hard to stay on top of all the action these days!

Yes, I am with Glinner in this one. I don't think it's abusive to call SB's behaviour sociopathic, it's an objective description of his behaviour.

That's some level of impunity these nutters have. Did such a thing ever happen before? Maybe the UVF enjoyed some measure of police protection way back in the 70s. It's scary because a lot of these lads are seriously mentally unwell.

(c) The tweets give the impression of SB being rather unreliable and glinner candid in his answers, was that the case, or was it more nuanced/complicated?

He sounded traumatised and his responses were one of a man who had been repeatedly harassed, he was aware of seven other people who had received the same type of harassment from the same person. He had reported things previously but the police had ignore. He was then subsequently arrested for harassment so felt he was being treated unfairly. Between him and the seven others he presented 400 pages of evidence in response to his arrest detailing how they had been repeatedly harassed, only to be dismissed again and charged.

One incident included a boom box being placed under his car. He's Irish. This is racist and an implicit bomb threat.

The bloke accusing him said under oath that he had tracked down where Linehan lived by using a photo of Linehan outside his house. He also obtained his telephone number but did a lot of 'i don't recall' at this point. This bloke also admitted to make threats online, wishing that it hadn't been soup but acid and then there's the footage of him harassing women at the BoI with his camera when they didn't want to be filmed which we know Linehan was witness to.

All of the above was talked about in court.

Then there was his arrest on Wednesday.

We have become aware that SB worked with Lyndsey Watson and we have been made aware that a wider group of TRAs knew that Glinner was going to be arrested on Wednesday before it happened. One posted about the 'trans underground Mafia'. We have also had posts on MN gleefully saying 'something big' was about to happen which I now am fairly sure was a reference to Glinners arrest.

There are also tweets requesting people report his website to anti terrorism and posts saying they have done this so there very much looks like coordinated targeted actions against him that are very much ongoing.

So all in all this week has demonstrated that even if Glinner sounds a bit tin foil hatted, it's representative of his lived experience and tbh I think those demonstrations of extreme behaviour would test a lot of rational reasonable people in terms of whether they thought there was a conspiracy involving collision/bias by the police. The intention of some of the harassment against him and others has very much been to test their sanity.

Even the ever cool JKRowling has pointed out the very obvious disparities in how she's been abused online and how the police have treated GC groups. Not to mention several court cases which have upheld complaints against the police along these lines.

I genuinely don't understand how you have come to some of the conclusions / questions in this post tbh.

Sophie Molly is Sparkles
Sophie Brooks is the 'victim'.
They are two different people.

Sophie Molly has been encouraging further harassment of Glinner since the case started and has said he knew about the arrest being planned before it happened due to being in an 'underground trans Mafia'.

We know that Sophie Brooks has been working with Lyndsey Watson and Stephen Hayden and has closed association with Fred Wallace.

So basically it very much looks like a group actively coordinating to harass Glinner from their own explicit admissions.

Beyond that we don't know what exactly has happened and who is involved with what, but there's a clear basis for coming to wider conclusions about just how much coordination is going on to yes terrorise Glinner (the boom box is hard to dismiss as not being an act of terrorism).
