First thread here

Started thread 2 as this seems destined to run for some time...

I just got arrested again

I arrived back in London to discover the UK is still a police state run by trans activists

This is definitely not turning out the way the transes wanted/hoped. They've managed to make a victim of him, and even draw JKR out of the woodwork.

That mad Lynsay bloke thought he was so clever, bringing the original complaint. Which has now turned into a massive discussion about freedom of speech. Well done, Lynsay! FAFO, indeed.

Happy times.

If you want to show some concrete support for Graham, you could subscribe to his Substack (there is a free option).

That's not his current substack. Try this:

Graham has an active crowdfunder for legal action under Why I’m asking for your help again in the usual place.

The hypocrisy of arresting him when TRAS say worse and are not arrested - and the overkill in the number of armed police - annoys me. I've donated before but wont personally be donating for this.

@murasaki

The documentary about the 30 Yr old man who posed as a school boy.

Two things that stood out; his massive sense of entitlement & disregard for other’s feelings. The upset, embarrassment & confusion felt by the children whose space he had invaded. Particularly the young girl who’d had to kiss him as part of the school play.

All very familiar.

RedToothBrush · 03/09/2025 14:27

Starmer and Streeting have woken up to the political relevance and political traps of not acknowledging sex (thanks Democrats) and in no way is it about internal rivalry between the two

The Tories scramble for political relevance.

Nigel Farage wakes up and realises that actually it's not a feminist issue and perhaps he should start to understand the debate at a very basic level.

Meanwhile Zack "let's abolish NATO" merely doubles down in a fantasy la la land where sexism dies exist if you identify out of sex and pretend everyone else has too.

The LDs acknowledge that it's probably best to keep their mouths shut because the Nimbyesque local voters don't like it whilst the national voters are the lanyard class more obsessed with virtue signalling than acknowledging real world harms because it doesn't suit their agenda.

And finally the SNP keep quiet well aware of how they've been burnt before and fully aware of just how much Nicola Fucked It when she didn't acknowledge that trans identifying rapists are 'a but problematic'.

Meanwhile the general population unaware of the subject go "The Father Ted guy just got arrested with five armed police for saying women who are being sexually harassed by creeps should just lamp them - just like the Actual Queen did last week".

Exactly. And yet that was deemed to be an outrage, and this is accepted and even pushed for.

"So let’s get this straight. If a mugger snatches your phone, the police will do nothing. If burglars ransack your home, the police will do nothing. If your daughter is raped by a grooming gang, the police will do nothing.
But if you write a social media post that offends someone who identifies as transgender, you’ll be abruptly set upon by five armed officers.
Obviously, it shouldn’t need saying that the arrest of Graham Linehan, the award-winning comedy writer and co-creator of Father Ted, brings shame on the police and makes our country look like a tinpot dictatorship. Nonetheless, I believe that this disgraceful episode will at least have one upside. Because it demolishes, once and for all, one of trans activism’s most subtly pernicious arguments."

Edited

Yes, it took me a bit of rummaging yesterday morning to find it!

Glinner posted his account of his arrest and the mad Lynsay bloke was posting on Bluesky going "He's broken the terms of his bail!!!". But poor Lynsay doesn't seem to realise that Glinner was only banned from X, not all online media. What fecking eejits these TRAs are.

SEEN Police Official Open Public Network (@seenpoliceuk.bsky.social)

Graham Linehan is engaging on further targeted harassment of trans people on his SubStack and is engaging in witness intimidation under the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994. He may also be breaching bail conditions.

To be clear to people on here who don't realise, "Lynsay Watson" is a TIM ex-policeman who was sacked from the police for being a TRA nutter:

https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Lynsay-Watson-v-Police-Appeals-Tribunal.pdf

He runs an account on X and Bluesky called https://bsky.app/profile/seenpoliceuk.bsky.social He pretends he has "volunteers", but it's all him really.

He thinks he has some legal expertise, and wields Judicial Reviews against anyone or thing he doesn't like. And he is the person who made this disastrous (for the TRAs) complaint against Glinner:

https://bsky.app/profile/seenpoliceuk.bsky.social/post/3lxtqvcfv322l

He's also made himself and Interested Party in the court case that Glinner is defending this week, from another TRA.

Hopefully this will peak people who couldn't care less about women's rights and safety but care very much about their right to say stuff.

Most pertinent here, is: If a man invades a woman's space and is threatening, abusive, the police will do nothing. If a man suggests women should call the police, or punch this hypothetical man, he is arrested for threatening violence.

Men can threaten women with impunity. Men who feel they are threatened by a hypothetical tweet can mobilise a team of five armed police.

All they need to do is claim a special sort of 'gender identity'.

That's ultimately the take home point that the majority of the public will take from this.

Remembering that policing in the UK is by public consensus.

They f-u-c-k-e-d it.

Yes, that's what's drawing out people who may be on the same side as Glinner, but can't actually stand him. Like JKR. That's what this idiot TRA has accomplished 😆

Well done Met Police on your spectacular own goal.

'“Why do you care, anyway? Trans people are a tiny minority, who account for less than one per cent of the population. So how do these issues affect you?”

Well, now the whole nation can see the answer. These issues affect every last one of us – because they imperil our freedom of speech. Defy the gender fanatics and you too could find yourself surrounded by gun-toting policemen. Graham Linehan’s arrest, therefore, proves that trans ideology is a threat to us all.'

Oh and that.

I think that covers the three most important issues in a nutshell.

RedToothBrush · 03/09/2025 14:41

The Met Police havent shaken the perception that they 'have a woman hating problem' have they?

And getting people who are in opposition to each other, like JKR and the whey faced poltroon LOJ agreeing is quite the feat too.

RedToothBrush · 03/09/2025 14:44

Yes getting Owen Jones to agree with Keir Starmer, JKRowling AND Nigel Farage all at the same time is a moment we should all reflect on.

Does this make him a Nazi?

BunfightBetty · 03/09/2025 14:46

The absolute brass neck of Sir Mark Rowley to claim that the police’s hands are tied and they absolutely have to investigate if it looks like it might fall within the definition of a crime.

When the Met are failing to investigate actual crimes with evidence on clear-cut offences like burglary, car crime and domestic violence. They openly refuse to investigate, and say as much, even where crime victims present them with evidence they’ve gathered themselves. As somebody living within the Met’s fiefdom I am disgusted at their abject failure over the years to police effectively.

So, Sir Mark, which is it?

Are you honour bound to investigate all putative crimes?

Or only some?

And if the latter (which, let’s face it, is obviously what’s happening), who chooses which crimes get investigated and which get ignored, and on what basis is this decided?
