NHS Fife tries to silence nurse - Sandie Peggie vs NHS Fife Health Board - thread #2

Sandie Peggie, a nurse at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy (VH), has brought claims in the employment tribunal against her employer; Fife Health Board (the Board) and another employee, Dr B Upton. Ms Peggie’s claims are of sexual harassment, harassment related to a protected belief, indirect discrimination and victimisation. Dr Upton claims to be a transwoman, that is observed as male at birth but asserting a female gender identity.

The Employment Tribunal hearing started on Monday 3 January 2025 and is expected to continue for 2 weeks.

JR suggests making Beth a respondant was a vindictive thing to do.

SP held her nerve with a NO. The pause was excruciating as JR wanted her to add more.

Nothing else. Other than repeats of SP causing hurty feels to the man in the women's changing room.

I hope NC asked Fife HR is putting someone on special leave/suspension an assumption of guilt.

DU off sick for 2 months!!! So that's 2 A&E staff down.

You can hear SPs frustration in her answers to the repeated questions over and over and over again.

JR is hashing this over and over makes me feel she has got fuck all else up her sleeve. Hold strong SP!

The panel intervened that Russell was asking a very long legalistic question of the claimant.

Jane Russell is a recent KC, apparently.
