NHS Fife tries to silence nurse - Sandie Peggie vs NHS Fife Health Board - thread #2

Sandie Peggie, a nurse at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy (VH), has brought claims in the employment tribunal against her employer; Fife Health Board (the Board) and another employee, Dr B Upton. Ms Peggie’s claims are of sexual harassment, harassment related to a protected belief, indirect discrimination and victimisation. Dr Upton claims to be a transwoman, that is observed as male at birth but asserting a female gender identity.

The Employment Tribunal hearing started on Monday 3 January 2025 and is expected to continue for 2 weeks.

15 minutes ago the judge went for a five minute break! Everyone else sat ready and waiting and the panel are AWOL

I was a gibbering wreck in my last tribunal. The questions wouldn't go in, I couldn't think straight and in the end my barrister was allowed to supply most of my answers. I was so stressed and so tired I was a mess!

Sandie Peggie - that poor woman. Just left sitting there all this time.

I blame NC for asking for a break, she must know the Judge is a flight risk.

You know how the panel are writing notes, they could ask DrU to do it, he's an expert
