Oh no indeed. Apart from changing colour, the brown one is not correctly supported. The Black and Tan is more appropriately attached.

Thanks, LOL. Read some to DH & he said on his long car commute he's tried to turn his engine noise down using the car radio controls.

My aunt who was going deaf said she once didn't hear what her daughter said to her, so she pointed the TV remote at her & pressed the 'increase volume' button.

So reassuring that everyone does it. Without MN we'd all think it was just us going mad.

The number of times I've been driving along, worrying about whether I left the car keys at home before the penny drops, is slightly concerning.

I called in at the Staunch Ally & asked the guys if they could help out. No objections to that, I hope?

Thanks for the link, @Chersfrozenface . I had just tried googling 'cake gravy' as that can sometimes be quicker than trying an mn advanced search, and discovered there are people touting recipes for 'cake gravy'. I've not looked in detail but I think they may have reinvented chocolate custard.

Is there any way to make the MN search facility work? I only use it for usernames/posting history, because for everything else it seems very random.
