Same poster, but a bloke basically being pissed off because his girlfriend had had threesomes prior to him, but didn't want to have them with him seemed to be the gist!

I'll help with 'spiffing' and 'ninny' if some of you will give a hand with 'cheerio!'.

Pondering why 'ninny' is such a constant and familiar part of my mental vocabulary I've decided that aside from the company I keep, not all of it feline, it is partly Sam Gamgee's use of ninnyhammer as an expression of self-rebuke and partly Miles Vorkosigan's horse, Fat Ninny.

If I get behind 'ninny', it may mean giving up 'nitwit' so it's quite the sacrifice.

No, trust me, it is entirely possibly to use both, sometimes even in the same sentence.

I'm fond of "twallock" too.

I do already use Nitwit i even had a file called that in my work computer for stupid e mails that needed a carefully considered reply, that was not offensive.

I like "muffin" as well. I mean as a word for a nitwit or ninny.

And "chuffin' muffin" if particularly irate.

I'm thinking of ways to combine them. 'Ninny-pated nitwit' I like or 'chuffing ninny-pated nitwit' for extra disdain. Or, in you're on your way out the door, 'you chuffing, ninny-witted, numpty. I bid you 'cheerio'!'.
