I was wondering - in the crafters’ section of the Bluestocking, do we have extra craft supplies? I feel the need of some time spent fondling some deliciously soft and silky yarn, please and thank you.

Oh yes, the yarn store is just along the corridor & then the room next door is the Yarn-based Ball Pit of Ecstacy. That's very popular.

@EdithStourton - yep - bloody wet and chilly sums up the weather here!

I live near Paisley, and it took me years living up here to realise that there might be a causal link between the town and Paisley pattern - it was popularised by the mills in Paisley. As a crafter, I hung my head in shame that I didn’t make the connection quicker.

Ive told ds2 to cuddle a quokka for me. Maybe he could smuggle one back in his suitcase, next time he comes? Or maybe I should settle for a cuddly toy (fondue set, cuddly toy).

Or how about rather sexy sexist beetle with her chum?

The AI did kick me off for saying I wanted fat women in the audience when trying to create a scene with a fat woman stand-up comic wearing a purple smock. I had used a forbidden word but I'm not sure which one it was. Anyway that's not a smock is it? And why has she got her back to the audience?

@inkymoose - the right hand picture is definitely getting towards my level of embonpoint- though I am more rotund (I think I have an equator, rather than a waistline). 😂😂😂

Well, bing's had a go at 'lesbians chatting in the Bluestocking pub with a brown dachshund', and the results are...

all white & youngish
almost all in denim
all covered up, mostly wearing thick jumpers
no huge boobs

And one of the lovely dachshunds is a Black and Tan.

ErrolTheDragon · 01/10/2024 15:53

@inkymoose - there really does seem to be an age of invisibility.

I know. The AI has a mind of its own.

I wonder what a similar request for some men aging from boyhood to old men would have similar gaps? (No, I'm not after hot blokes...this is now a somewhat serious feminist research question!)

Well it does have gaps, but not the same ones!!

Gosh, there are no young men at all! Only boys or old men. Is AI trying to tell us something?

Boiledbeetle · 01/10/2024 16:19

Slight tweak of my ask of the AI

At least the one on the right got the eyebrow pencil memo.

Boiledbeetle · 01/10/2024 16:25

And now I shall plonk myself in front of the fire in the snug. Can the gerbils bring me a latte and a nice bowl of beef stew with some fresh crusty bread (yes buttered), oh and a blanket and a cat.

Merci.

Chersfrozenface · 01/10/2024 16:29

Some of my friends got AI to picture me in martial mode. I may have gone a bit Boudicca about someone - verbally, I hasten to add.

After several attempts showing a pneumatic blonde in that pointless armour so common in fantasy art depictions of female warriors, complete with swishy horse-tailed helmet, one AI did manage to get fairly close to my actual appearance in a foul mood and practical armour, with two swords.

BTW, pointless armour is now available in dude.

For the love of god everyone, spare yourselves the sensitive content - hairy legs man in a kind of chastity belt arrangement - I wonder did the poor chap get hairs stuck in the metalwork? Disembowelment would be a mercy.

The cadence and comprehensibility of that remind me of having to some Chaucer for English O level.

ifIwerenotanandroid · 01/10/2024 17:29

So you can have a separate latte & broth & no cat, or a cat & the latte-broth melange. Sorry, Boily.

I thought exactly the same. Who knew the AI was fluent in Middle English?

DeanElderberry · 01/10/2024 17:34

I don't really want a buttered bed. Last week I poured tea over the blanket the cat sits on beside my pillow (and partly on the cat, but he didn't cop why I was dabbing him with tissues) and then next morning tipped over the milk for my early morning tea and it went everywhere (the cat did notice that and approved wholeheartedly and helped with the clear up) and it's only been today that I've been able to wash everything and get it out on the line for a blow in the sunshine.

So I would prefer to not have any more sleeping place/edibles interactions for a while.
