Roz Adams was employed by Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre (ERCC) as a counsellor. She is claiming constructive dismissal for Gender Critical (GC) beliefs. The CEO of ERCC is a well known transwoman known for, among other things, controversial "reframe your trauma" remarks.

'Unforgivable sin' - is that an acknowledgement its a religious in nature and must be punished?!

This is exhausting, so anger inducing, but absolutely Fucking glorious!

Remember that these people are volunteers. It'll be interesting to look at the resignations from ERCC posts over the coming year.

NC: puts it to the witness that it's an unforgiveable sin for someone who doesn't believe TWAW to use the pronouns that come naturally to them. Talks about tabboos and rules about language. Says you can only get people to pretend they think TWAW, if you make them too frightened to speak the truth, and that's exactly what this organisation did.

Well that gets to the Orwellian root of the matter, doesn't it.

She's nailed it.

RA was guilty of the 'unforgivable sin' because she wouldn't take the knee over NB employee's known sex, relevant to SU enquiry, and was cast out as a result.

I wonder what the bat signal symbol would be?

Because she makes the ERCC look better than MW or Nico would've.

NC: Bullying is the only way you can force people to repeat the obvious lie that TWAW (paraphrasing here)

NC is just brilliant.

Quite the comment - if a belief requires fear to survive, and you've got a bunch of traumatised and vulnerable women, obviously a culture of fear is TOTALLY appropriate.

NC IS AMAZING

MS it lets people have a choice

The choice to compel everyone around them to participate in their sex denial role play. It doesn't let those other people have a choice.

NC It's your job as board member to be the conscience of the organisation, isn't it?

Yes.

NC Then it seems to me you have quite a lot of work to do.

NC made me laugh out loud with her suggestion that the organisation has a lot of work to do. Or perhaps that the board, as the ERCC's consicence, has a lot of work to do.
