I got an email back saying my message asking for remote access to this hearing had been blocked.

Discussing possible adjournment for today & updating tomorrow, instructing solicitor could take over for RA evidence but then may have to adjourn.

NC will update tribunal by 11 tomorrow, case may have to go part-heard before submissions.

I mentally translated to - a tear in her eye. Whoops.

I had a recent corneal abrasion. It was absolute agony but was fine by the next day after treatment. Corneas heal very quickly.
Fingers crossed Naomi will have a similar result.

I scratched my cornea pushing through low hanging branches on a less well defined woodland path. It happened in a US mountain town and the call out fee for a medic on a Saturday was $600+ so the triage nurse directed me to a nearby pharmacy for eye drops. By Monday morning it was OK.

All too easy.

1. Poke/scratch your eye with a fingernail, pen, or makeup brush.
2. Get dirt, sand, sawdust, ash, or some other foreign matter in your eye.
3. Catch it on a bush thorn.
4. Get chemicals in your eye (people have done it with ketchup).
5. Rub it too hard.
6. Contact lenses.
7. Eye infection.
8. And the list goes on

I always feel so sorry for everyone involved when something like this happens. No matter what side you are on it is stressful enough.

I hope NC gets better soon as a pp said it can be very easy to do and painful.
