Good grief. 🙄

Can you imagine a pro women organisation ever going out of their way to limit the ways women can contact them?

These men show themselves up as irredeemable misogynists at every turn.

How on earth do you tear a cornea? Poor Naomi

I had this once from my toddler's sharp fingernail. So painful. It took a day or two before it stopped watering and I could see again. Drops will help.

Poor Naomi, not ideal.

SaffronSpice · 16/01/2024 14:15

BoreOfWhabylon · 16/01/2024 12:43

I had a recent corneal abrasion. It was absolute agony but was fine by the next day after treatment. Corneas heal very quickly.
Fingers crossed Naomi will have a similar result.

Same. Felt like I had grit in my eye - sore and watered constantly. Cream for a day and next day I was fine. I think it is a concern if they don’t heal within 24 hours.

Funny you should say that...

i thought the TRA side was big on “accountability” ? Apparently no longer.

Datun · 16/01/2024 14:35

I'm hoping that this scuttling for the corners is indicative of their sudden realisation that the jig is up.

And once it's up, I, for one, will contribute to any crowd funder that really wants to fucking nail it home.

ArabellaScott · 16/01/2024 14:49

Women need our stuff back, Rape Crisis.

BezMills · 16/01/2024 14:53

Yeah all that reverse ferreting won't erase history.

I must have been naughty.

@Rightsraptor I don't think you're blocked. If you used the link that was in the previous post, it contains some extraneous characters so the email address wouldn't be valid.

You could try sending an email again and hand type the address this time as follows:

This will be a hugely important case. I remember the trans counsellor saying that the victim should re-educate herself. So...Rape Crisis's primary focus of support is for the menz with lady feelz not the women who have been raped? Hmm. Good use of funding.

Is there a charity whose primary focus is to support women who have been raped? One that recognises that autogynephilic men may not be the most reassuring people to speak with if you've just been raped? One that recognises empowering a rape victim by respecting her choice of biological female counsellor is the very least it can do to support her.

Can you imagine so-called feminists harassing a pro women organisation until they're forced to?

IamSarah · 16/01/2024 17:16

Female rape survivors requesting female only support from a women's rape crisis centre does not constitute harassment.

But online GC activisits brigading a rape crisis centre's twitter account until they're forced to close it is most definitely harassment.

With the knock on effect it makes it harder for women who need their services to contact them, but of course the point here is not actually to support rape survivors is it.

ArabellaScott · 16/01/2024 17:22

We do not know why these organisations are shutting down their social media.

heartofglass23 · 16/01/2024 17:24

Glad other people are waking up to what that man has done to rape services in Scotland!

To most TRA-centring orgs, an 'outpouring of hate' is anything more than three messages asking questions or pointing out that they're talking shite about something.

So excuse me if I file that under 'press X to doubt' until proof is supplied.

Most of what you say, Prawn, just makes me laugh but this accusation is just pure nastiness. And it shows how little you know or care about real pro women organisations.

NecessaryScene · 16/01/2024 17:44

Well, we have organisations that will withdraw their media presence in the face of controversy, they refuse to direct women to other services when they can't/won't help, and they tell women to "reframe their trauma".

So we do have to concur:

The point here is not actually to support rape survivors is it?

And bear in mind, that they are in full control of all these actions. Saying "she made me do it" as a "knock-on effect" doesn't cut it.

How did it even get off the ground? Forcing women to recount their history of rape so men can be validated.

It's absolutely disgusting. And anyone who supports it is equally disgusting.
