He's complaining that young people don't get surgery soon enough.

He's a one man peaking machine.

IcakethereforeIam · 04/08/2023 00:36

I had to turn if off as soon as he started talking. Vile man.

Laughing at your second sentence and 🤦‍♀️ at your first.

Every time I see that image, I think the mouth is a dummy.

But most people who have double mastectomies are of the sex that is less likely to have paraphilias.

Time stamp 10m in

I know dozens and dozen of transwomen
I wish K would stop calling them girls
They are mature women often in their 20's...

Darn shame the editor forgot to say the news segment was about the 50% of the population who can not grow a moobs

Tis all about the mnzzz

I can't see what you're all talking about. I'm in a mobile so can possibly only see a clip of the picture.

This .... what am I not seeing??

Tallisker · 04/08/2023 11:29

"Few roar"? What the buggery bollocks is a "few roar"? Is she supposed to be a journalist, you know, those people who rely on words for a living?

I'll go back and be repulsed by Tatchell in a minute

Costa ad being discussed on R4 Antisocial right now. Missed the start but seems to missing the point about this glorifying self harm. The bit I've heard seems to be about personal squeamishness and art. Adam Fleming needs to have a chat with Andrew Neil.

nettie434 · 04/08/2023 12:32

I'm listening too CriticalCondition. I agree. I think it's because the person opposing 'woke capitalism' is more about freedom of speech and not policing commercial decisions and isn't really familiar with concerns about body dysmorphia or presenting 'gender affirming surgery' as being problem free.

However, I do think Anti Social reaches a different audience to Twitter so it's all part of bringing sunlight into these debates.

CriticalCondition · 04/08/2023 12:35

This chap is describing very well how ESG is top down prescriptive and baked into the system with regulation.

CriticalCondition · 04/08/2023 12:40

The woman employed to promote 'queer community' advertising says she has stats which show companies do better with 'inclusive' ads. Well, in the words of Mandy Rice Davies, she would, wouldn't she.

FormerlyPathologicallyHappy · 04/08/2023 12:49

It didn't do bud light any good. Sales of coors are increasing.

CriticalCondition · 04/08/2023 13:09

Jesus, this is what we are up against . The 'queer community' advertising woman laughingly said she didn't care that Rishi Sunak and the government was concerned about people being 'de-banked' for their political views because 'I don't like them'. Is she really that dim?
I really hope that's peaked a few more R4 listeners with a bit more intelligence.

Villagetoraiseachild · 04/08/2023 13:29

Thanks for confirming @CriticalCondition what the wokeymcwoke woman on Anti Social just said. Was sure I must have misheard there. Am no fan of Mr Farage but this is about principles, not making our own rules based on dislike of personalities.
As for her defence of the 'artwork' of the advert....there are no words.
No amount of artwork or pandering to the wokerati can compensate for their shit coffee.
@Floisme nailed it.

CriticalCondition · 04/08/2023 13:54

The business chap got the last word in just as Adam Fleming was wrapping up and quickly added he didn't like the Conservative government either. Thereby making the point. Good for him, Adam Fleming kept interrupting him and more than once cut him off to introduce prerecorded pieces. Whereas QueerAdsRUs Woman was given free reign to waffle on with lots of feel good words and chuckle about not knowing anything about business regulation and barely being able to run her own bank account.

Lovecleansheets · 09/08/2023 20:22

It’s being repeated right now. Pile of crappy BBC idiocy. Not a single word so far about the glorification of breast removal. Jesus, I’m not going to pay the licence fee anymore. Where’s the debate? Where’s the spokesperson demanding to know why a male isn’t shown with his penis cut off? I’m so enraged by the national broadcaster being so bloody one sided 😡

maltravers · 09/08/2023 21:32

Yes love clean sheets, I can’t help but feel if it was a young man with testicles and penis cut off, that might have made Adam Rutherford think “Hmm is this actually a good thing?” but young women being mutilated just doesn’t pierce his warm glow of “inclusivity”.
