They always use the same excuse when trying to invade women's sports: make out that they're being forbidden from ever competing in the sport they love by truly nasty, hateful bigots; when there are any number of appropriate equivalent male competitions that would welcome them.

The determination in itself speaks volumes. These people will stop at nothing to get access to their victims. (And yes, that's what they are; Anne in spite of this protestation is not a victim, but an aggressor).

They used to make a beeline for the priesthood. Now, it's the rainbow they're hiding behind. Same shit, different day and a slightly different veneer of 'respectability' to guarantee that access.

Bollocks is Anne being 'attacked' and 'forced back into the closet'. Anne's being forced to realise that there are boundaries as to how much Anne can use other people. That they feel shame over their actions and do not like hearing the word 'no' is not a failing in other people's tolerance.
