I wasn’t sure whether to post this. Really the person to criticise is Susie Green, but at the same time JG is an adult and has publicly made a video using misogynistic language. Or does the background mean JG should be off-limits? Opinions welcome.

Is this an advert for the outcomes of hormone treatment and surgery in those under 17?

I think JG should be off limits.

I couldn't watch the whole thing but was disturbed by the mismatch between apparent physical age and mental age.

Nothing will be gained by discussing an individual like this.

What is it with the accent? Same with many older teens I meet nowadays, a distinct American twang. Sometimes they use actual American pronunciations eg tomayto, math etc.

Anyway, relevant to the OP: Yes horrible language sadly unsurprising.

I wonder if, during those dark hours of the soul, Jackie directs their ire at the true architect of their situation Susie? Or, judging from Jackie's indepth analysis shown on this clip, probably not. Insults are all they ever have.

You could be right.

But then JG did release this video. About a video they could have addressed a long time ago and did not. There seems something calculated about doing this now. This could be a sign that something very wrong is going on in their life too.

But if this is a video released to increase/launch their media presence, it should be discussed.

They seem very immature.

I think if JG has chosen to respond to KJK publicly then it’s reasonable to expect people will talk about it.

I know what I think about what SG did but JG appears to have no issue with SG’s actions so why can’t we talk about it?

KJK doesn’t expect people not to talk about her videos. Personally I think JG’s response says a lot about JG’s personality and ability to behave like a rational adult but I would expect nothing less from the proponents of #no debate.

I think this is one of many moral issues we are going to have to face.
For me, the first thing that came to mind was the (BBC?) interview with Lily Madigan, where Lily spoke about wanting to be an MP, and was so inarticulate it was clear they were completely unsuited to the task. Lily appeared to be vulnerable.

Its worth remembering that sometimes people are considered vulnerable because they behave in ways that cause problems for others, and are unable to predict or manage the consequences.

This person does not seem mentally very well. This is hardly surprising given how he was treated from a very young age. I'm sure the physical difficulties that have been caused by the extensive surgery that was a 16th birthday 'present' are also taking their toll.

I do hope that Jackie, Jazz and all the other innocent victims of this ideology get a lot of counselling and support going forward to help them make sense of their situation.

Never mind sex and/or gender confusion. I counted four different accents in that short clip.

Let’s go with inauthentic. It sound inauthentic. Ironically, in conversation you might also describe someone like that as ‘not comfortable in their own skin’.

The problem with all this is that these child transitioners are vulnerable. That's the whole point. That's what KJK is trying to put a stop to.

I'd be interested to see the rest of the video, because sometimes if you cherry pick something, you get the wrong impression.

But based on that, and the fact that JG is coming across as much longer than their years, I would say it endorses what KJK is doing, not the opposite.

This is all just so odd, the accent, the mannerisms, the language. I was always of the opinion that JG was off limits, but I guess JG has put JG out there now.

Even the beginning is odd. Jackie mispronounces Kellie's name, and pretends they doesn't know who she is.

What is going on with the American accent and bitchy attitude? Like a character modelled on an American teen movie.

God it’s sad isn’t it. I’m so sorry for the kids that don’t get to grow up. There’s evidence that puberty blockers affect bone development & other pubertal development processes. Does anyone know if there has been a study on any impact on the important brain development stages that are prompted by puberty?

I've just started watching and that leapt out at me.

Considering that Jackie's mother has been instrumental in getting KJK interviewed by West Yorkshire Police I find that quite hard to believe.

I also wonder why now? That video was done years ago and if anything it'll flag people to Susie Green's Ted talk

I'll save people the trouble of watching: JG says "bitch" continually but has nothing of value or interest to say. Just like all the other TRAs.

I think Jackie has been living in California for a while, following a spell in Italy and perhaps elsewhere.

I don't think they have lived in the UK as an adult.

Oh God, I'm only 12 minutes in, and it's very uncomfortable. This person is clearly vulnerable. There's no doubt about it.

I hope Jackie doesn't get any backlash. I don't think they are very robust, on the evidence after only 12 minutes.

However - it's the immaturity. It's undeniable.

I wonder what the Dad thinks of this child now that they are a very mature adult? Are they now 30?

I watched the whole thing, & it was thoroughly depressing, as well as confirming that gender ideology is utterly toxic.

Jackie comes across as simultaneously deeply unpleasant & deeply damaged.

If I was Jackie's mother, I would be very apprehensive as to where all that misogyny & hostility might land next. I certainly wouldn't be congratulating myself on such an obviously unhappy outcome to my parenting decisions.

& yes to 'inauthentic' - none of Jackie's various personae ring true.
