Good news all round

Any chance the TRAs are slowly realizing that their public displays of aggression, violence and silencing of women are actually a PR disaster for them?

That’s giving them a little too much credit.

Actually, in a way it’s a shame. The success of Let Women Speak, depends on them showing up and being their arseholey, music blaring, silencing-us selves. A fact they, remarkably, appear not to have grasped for all these years.

I think they were too busy having fun bullying women, to stop to think how they were coming across to bystanders and the wider public. After all, they are not a bunch of reflective, deep thinkers, are they?

I wound back the livefeed to watch Baroness Claire Fox - fantastic speech, emphasising this is not a left or right issue "It's a bloody revolutionary issue!"

Lovely to hear the singing, also to actually hear the women speaking, without the loud interruptions which usually accompany the gatherings

I've just watched the camera pan round whilst they are singing. Wow there's a lot of supporters there today. And a lot of police!. What a surprise!. Obviously someone high up wasnt impressed with last weeks internet coverage!

Of course passers by and people out for a Sunday stroll will now be able to hear what women are saying. The presence of TRS is not required.

They’ll be back. They’re bullies, remember, and they knew that there would be lots of people attending this time, so they hid. When they reckon they’ll outnumber women and think nobody is watching they’ll reappear.

That is a big crowd! Normally each speaker get 10-20 mostly people just stopping, listening and wandering through ( and mostly about religion) I have never seen such a big crowd for one “speaker”.

Lots of unis have already broken up for Easter. I’d bet a tenner a significant number of last week’s protesters were back home sitting down to a Sunday roast this week.

Spiked have reporters there and are covering the event.

And the police seem to have sent over 7 vans rather than having 7 invidual police officers walking in the opposite direction. Last weeks optics definitely didn't go down well with the higher up. 😁
