Caba Baba Rave - take your baby to watch nearly naked men in fetish gear

Journalist Dominique Samuels has posted video of one of their events: https://twitter.com/dominiquetaegon/status/1630948003962912768?s=61&t=gd6tu0Iz6JpyKXGLWMLGjg

Which features men gyrating and hanging from the ceiling surrounded by a crowd of clueless women and their babies.

I would say it's NSFW but it's apparently safe for babies so have a watch.

Here's a reddux article:

https://reduxx.info/uk-sold-out-rave-for-babies-featuring-drag-queens-prompts-outrage/

Since the video went viral, the company has taken down its website and Facebook and made their Instagram private. I wonder why? Confused

@BernardBlacksMolluscs - you were quoted in The Sun!

No link, because: Hillsborough.

Here’s a screenshot. Are you gonna contact them and demand they fix the typo on your username? 😆

Did anyone see Dominique Samuels on GB News' Free Speech Nation this evening? She covered this a few days ago on her vlog or whatever it's called. She was horrified about it. Unfortunately, they put her opposite a woman called ? Kaur who hardly let her get a word in. This Ms Kaur pulled out all the usual rubbish: Dominique's anti-trans, extreme right wing, the LGBTQIA+ 'community' are being branded bigots and are getting death threats and on and on.

Where did the anti-trans and anti-LGBTQIA+ stuff even come from? Who said these performers are trans, bi, gay or whatever? They just seemed to be scantily clad people waving their legs around in a most unsuitable manner for young children as far as I could see. While grooming the parents.

I have just seen this on Twitter. A little girl acting like a drag Queen and the mums paying her!

twitter.com/daltonreport/status/1632096217428795392?s=61&t=sGNbXjC277ajck0WK0mZnw

Apart from the money, is this any different from those kids doing the toddler and tiara shows?

Boiledbeetle · 05/03/2023 21:40

Some disgusting shit gets posted on these threads...but this!?! This takes the biscuit

(Pauses mid-way through dunking a Jacobs Cracker in tea)

@DysonSpheres you sick sick pup..looks at cuppa, looks at cream crackers...erm..where was I?

ArabellaScott · 05/03/2023 21:41

I like the wheels on the bus.

Soubriquet · 05/03/2023 21:51

probably not the worst that was on there but it’s up there

The kiddy pageants are definitely grim and I doubt you’ll find many Brits who disagree with me on that - it’s not really part of our culture though - the nearest thing we have as far as I’m aware are dance festivals, which are kinda like the contests you see on Dance Moms but on a much smaller, more local scale and the costumes are not nearly as racy as the Dance Moms ones.

Back in the 80s there was a TV show called ‘Minipops’ which featured weirdly adultified children doing cover versions of hit songs.

It was aired at teatime and aimed at children (who probably just liked seeing kids their own age singing famous songs) and it attracted massive ratings.

It also widespread criticism for being really creepy and only lasted one season. I had one of the LPs that preceded/accompanied the TV show…

Not all the performances/song choices were overtly sexual but they were still, in hindsight, very weird - this YouTube clip has a kid pretending to be Joan Jett.

this one features a kid pretending to be Toyah Wilcox (side note: surely Toyah is a terf?)

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minipops

That’s an interesting coincidence, apparently The Guardian published an article about the Minipops a couple of weeks ago…

amp.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2023/feb/08/it-wasnt-designed-for-people-with-perverted-minds-how-kids-show-minipops-scandalised-britain

Anyway, a combo of Minipops and JonBenét Ramsey’s mysterious death making international news seems to have been enough to prevent the pageant thing ever taking hold over here?

We need to resurrect the ‘Are you people out of your mind’ attitude to this stuff (although I draw a personal line at before getting to the point of saying kids look like miniwhores!)

Also, I believe Chris Morris got a mention upthread? Although perhaps in the other thread about Cabababarave? I’ve lost track!

Noooo. I lived through the mini pops era I'm not watching that shit ever again!

It's was absolutely shocking then. Everyone I knew hated it as it was incredibly uncomfortable to watch.

Boiledbeetle · 05/03/2023 23:33

All of these things over different eras. All about sexualising children. Making children into mini adults. I'm not wanting to go back to a time when grown rock stars were shagging 13 year old girls as 'well who could blame them look what she looks like'.

The mini pops, and beauty pagents for toddlers, and now child drag artists. And then baby bondage shows. It's all about doing the same thing, and it's all driven by the same desire to break the link between a child their age and childhood. When a five year old girl dresses like a 40 year old year old man and when a 40 year old man dresses like. A 5 year old girl the boundaries are blurred. Sex and children should not mix.

Aside from making sure children know that no adult should ever want to talk about act out or encourage sexual behaviour with a child and if they do tell someone what else do they need to know until much later?

Delphinium20 · 05/03/2023 23:38

That Madonna impersonation...oof. I would hope that the star herself would feel sick at this co-option of her costume.

SinnerBoy · 05/03/2023 23:49

Jeez, I'm glad I missed Minipops at the time. I didn't click any of the links, the pictures were awful enough.

Does anyone remember the mn thread about Graham Greene and Shirley Temple? I skim read this and it seems to cover a lot that was in there.

EpicChaos · 06/03/2023 00:00

Early memories - i still remember being taken to the baby clinic for injections. i remember other occasions where i was put in the scales, laid down. i remember being in my cot and figuring out the escape method. Obviously, there's a lot i don't remember but to say that people don't remember anything at all, is a theory that i don't subscribe to.
I wonder though, whether with those of us that are slightly older perhaps, we have better developed memories due to doing rote learning, such as with times tables, n that.

@IcakethereforeIam I wonder if your train might have been the Flying Scotsman? It did something of a whirlwind tour round about then. My grandma and mum took me to see it at our railway station, it didn't stop but i remember being enveloped in a heady mix of steam and smoke as it passed through.

CryptoFascistMadameCholet · 06/03/2023 00:09

Thought I better double check on my assertion that UK kiddy dance competitions are less adultified than Dance Moms (my info is out of date!) and found that the wild Freestyle Disco contests had become so alarming costume-wise that the dance federation imposed a no make up rule in the under tens categories In 2018 and a ‘your costume must be at least this big’ rule for the lower categories.

So while I’m aghast it was necessary it’s good to hear that the organising federation took action.

Let kids be kids!

I'm with you. I do remember injections but not the very early ones, at least I don't think it was them.

I've memories of being sat in a silver cross pram with splints on my legs

And I do remember walking down the path in the back garden holding my dad's hand.

We were going to bury a bird that had died. I was just walking and I can remember being really unsteady on my feet and my dad saying you can do it and letting go of my hand.

I was 9 months old when I got the splints removed and straight away started walking.

And I'm of the older cohort of no tv, listen with mother on the radio and learning things off by heart. (The 23rd Psalm once learned never leaves the memory of even the least religious of us!)

On the flip side I have friends who remember nothing before around age 5-7 when they started school.

So I wonder why some of us can remember further back and some of us can't?

See I've not watched a Shirley Temple film in nearly forty years so last time I saw one was As a young child, but that article explains why I felt uncomfortable watching them. I was picking up on the message underneath the sweetness and innocence.

EpicChaos · 06/03/2023 01:21

" @Boiledbeetle " So I wonder why some of us can remember further back and some of us can't? "

It's definitely a headscratcher boiled beetle, i just gave a few examples but there are loads more things i can remember.
As a general thing, how are you at quizzing?
I ask because... A while ago, there was a short series of programmes where the Chasers did some challenges and learned a bit about themselves in a bid to understand what made them chasers. In amongst all that, Sean mentioned IQ and how he thought there are different types but one thing he didn't mention was having a quiz IQ but i think there is such a thing, i just wish i had it myself lol. Though when i think about it, that again would rely heavily on rote learning, as a lot of questions come round time and again, though some people still can never remember them.
Anyhoo, i just don't believe that none of those babies have inwardly digested what they were witness to and in any case, there were older toddlers there who most definitely will remember seeing that trash!

What a shock those “Baby Burlesque” films with Shirley Temple are. I had no idea. That really is something hidden in plain sight: that they were made for men while apparently being for children.

Boiledbeetle · 06/03/2023 01:32

@EpicChaos I'm fairly crap at general quizzes as I don't pay enough attention generally in life. But if you said I had an exam on a subject next Tuesday I'd probably pass the test. Of course by Wednesday 98% would have gone from my memory only to resurface 20 odd years later. (whispers but on the IQ front I am a member of mensa).

And yes some of those babies will carry some rather disjointed memories from some rather suspect baby groups as they get older. On their own it's just about 'not to bad'. But if their parents continue to take them to this shit and don't teach them proper sexual boundaries that is an awful lot of children with no inbuilt radar for suspect grooming behaviours. Those kids are going to be defenceless to even know something is wrong. And even if they think something's wrong who the fuck can they tell if mummy and daddy have spent his whole life telling little Kevin to go and hug the nice naked man in bondage gear?

ScrollingLeaves · 06/03/2023 01:41

This is about Graham Greene writing about Shirley Temple aged 8. Look how he makes out his own lasciviousness is actually her “dimpled depravity”.

It’s horrible how much people like him and at the DQs want to pass on their own selves into the children.

In his 1937 review of Wee Willie Winkie, he doubled down on his lecherous observations, saying, “Wearing short kilts, she is a complete totsy… watch the way she measures a man with agile studio eyes, with dimpled depravity. Adult emotions of love and grief glissade across the mask of childhood, a childhood skin-deep.”
He continued, “Her admirers — middle-aged men and clergymen — respond to her dubious coquetry, to the sight of her well-shaped and desirable little body, packed with enormous vitality, only because the safety curtain of story and dialogue drops between their intelligence and their desire.”*

Boiledbeetle · 06/03/2023 01:44

it makes my flesh crawl reading what he says. Blghhhhh

EpicChaos · 06/03/2023 02:05

Well i would say you have a quiz brain @Boiledbeetle - the ability to remember info when needed but then to be able to park it out of sight until needed again at some hitherto unknown point in the future, in order to make room for more stuff. Whether ordinary/general IQ plays any part in that, i dunno but it's another example of the complexity and beauty of the human brain.

" And even if they think something's wrong who the fuck can they tell if mummy and daddy have spent his whole life telling little Kevin to go and hug the nice naked man in bondage gear? "

Who indeed? They can't rely on their parents, their teachers, wider school community, the police, politicians, or even the local church/brown owl, or scout master, they're all infected with this plague! All of them!

Apologies @ScrollingLeaves @EndlessTea for talking round you. That all sounds very interesting. I remember seeing Shirley Temple films on the telly as a kid but i was never much struck tbh. I knew she went to work with/for the UN but i don't know anything about what you seem to be saying in your recent posts. I will delve into those at some point.

7Worfs · 06/03/2023 06:44

Ugh. Goes to show that nonces never give up and there are a lot more out there than we suspect. And drawn to professions where they have access and/or power.

Lurking in the shadows until they can’t help themselves and make an open power move to normalise their depravity, every few decades or so.

We can’t ever relax, if anything safeguarding should be getting stricter.

Boiledbeetle · 06/03/2023 08:15

I truly think that the parents who think that it's OK to take your babies and children to these things in the main are doing it with no malice intended.

I doubt they have any idea of just how many perverts, nonces and just if they could and got the opportunity they would type men (and it's almost always men) exist in this world.

They are probably unaware of the fact that it is possible to sexually assault a child in front of 100 adults and not one of those adults will notice.

It's perfectly possible to sexually assault a child sat on your lap with their mother sat directly in front of you looking straight at you.

These men don't need to take your child off to an isolated spot to sexually abuse them. They can literally do it in front of your eyes.

These men don't have anything else really in common apart from being men. Its not just the dodgy bloke who everyone in the neighbourhood gives a massive swerve when they see him.

These men aren't just some scummy dodgy bloke that smells. they are your bank manager, your doctor, the kids babysitter, your brother, their friends dad.
