Caba Baba Rave - take your baby to watch nearly naked men in fetish gear

Clymene · 02/03/2023 09:18

Journalist Dominique Samuels has posted video of one of their events: https://twitter.com/dominiquetaegon/status/1630948003962912768?s=61&t=gd6tu0Iz6JpyKXGLWMLGjg

Which features men gyrating and hanging from the ceiling surrounded by a crowd of clueless women and their babies.

I would say it's NSFW but it's apparently safe for babies so have a watch.

Here's a reddux article:

https://reduxx.info/uk-sold-out-rave-for-babies-featuring-drag-queens-prompts-outrage/

Since the video went viral, the company has taken down its website and Facebook and made their Instagram private. I wonder why? Confused

Hello! I haven't seen it I will take a look.

Welcome @bonjello. I'm newish around here too. Lots and lots of eye-opening, mind-awakening stuff on these threads.

The blatant Health & Safety breaches make me very anxious!

Stripper heels and crawling babies! 😱

here’s an actual kids rave, for comparison:

ALL THE ADULTS ARE FULLY DRESSED!

(the sponsors list cracked me up!)

yeah I just know one day his chair is going to collapse there is going to be a baby to close and it's going to be a mess.

I'll be honest i felt stressed as an adult watching the Kids rave video, I'd have been sulking in a corner with my arms crossed as a kid at that, but it's obvious the Kids there are really loving it and whilst not my thing appears to be age appropriate and well organised.

My first memories I can date are from 9 months old. It doesnt matter if the child/baby understands what's going on or not it's wrong to subject them to it. It prevents that child from forming decent boundaries and any parent who thinks the show this thread is about is OK needs to give their head a bloody good shake.

Also, surely it's not just about memory. Our earliest experiences shape us whether we remember them or not.

@CryptoFascistMadameCholet - thank you for sharing that. I can see that Lucinda and tits out friend are indeed very flexible and Tits Out is very strong.

This kind of cheap watered down version is not very interesting to watch though. I wonder if some of the excitement is wondering if your baby will end up in Lucinda's crotch during a floor performance. Danger baby stuff.

Incidentally, I really urge everyone to read the Der Spiegel article @RethinkingLife posted. The left has been toying with this stuff for 50 years.

@Clymene do you know where to find a link to that Der Spiegel article please? I've tried and failed.

Yes, I’ve watched the same segment, wondering the same thing…who IS that woman who said men would perform like that, in front of little kids, cos cost of living. Does anyone know who she is?

I couldn't believe my ears - had to rewind and listen again, to make sure i'd heard correctly.
What an appalling attitude and she was straight in with it before he'd even finished speaking, so i got the impression she had been rehearsing that little gem. Utter scumbucketry, imo!

AKAsomeonelse · 03/03/2023 22:18

I am horrified at this. Who the fuck would take their baby to something like this?! No reason or excuse!

Not had chance to read the whole thread, sorry if this has been mentioned.

Yeah. I do wonder how many of the people taking their babies to these things just had really boring childhoods so as they don't remember things from when they are really young they assume that their babies won't remember things that are really out of the norm!

Sorry, i have lost track and am now a bit pissed, it seems like there may be another defence strategy in play.

Yesterday it was

  1. its only for those pre sentient teeny tiny babies and they dont count as real people, so no probs

  2. men in thongs, stripper heels and leather strapping are in no way sexual, so no probs bringing the kids along

  3. FAKE NEWS. ITS ALL A GC PLOY, NEVER HAPPENED. No probs

  4. What is it now? The babies should all look away?

DQSH never got me that hot under the collar. Not my cuppa, would never take my kids, but would never protest outside either.

Only now, turns out, those protesting mums were right. First drag queens reading to your kids, next nearly naked people and men in bdsm gear swinging from the ceiling.

What comes after? What would make the Very Cool Mummies stop in their tracks?

I dont want to find out.

This is all too mental. How the fuck can ANY PARENT THINK THIS IS OK???

RethinkingLife · 03/03/2023 22:53

I recommend this article by Helen Joyce which is a model of clarity and summarises the relevant history that has brought us to where we are today:

Some hear ominous echoes of another time when well-meaning adults in thrall to an ideology put children in harm’s way. The post-1968 sexual-liberation movement on continental Europe sought to overturn sexual taboos, and some thought that meant starting young. In German kindergartens run along radical-left lines, teachers encouraged children to fondle them, look at pornography and simulate intercourse. Contemporaneous accounts show how parents repressed their moral qualms by focusing on their beliefs about how an unrepressed child should behave.

At this point the parents still going yeah this is fine really need social services intervention. They definitely need parenting classes.

Captured mainstream media then.

Boiledbeetle · 03/03/2023 23:45

Just reading it:

At the core of the movement of 1968, there was in fact a lack of respect for the necessary boundaries between children and adults.

Sound familiar?

SinnerBoy · 03/03/2023 23:53

Crocs on the beach??? You don't mean the shoe kind either do you?

No, she means the five metre long, swallow a cowin two gulps lizard ones. And that's not to mention the sharks and jellyfish.

SinnerBoy · 03/03/2023 23:54

Gaaah! "cow in," for fucks sake!

As long as there is a cow on the beach and you can run faster than it you should be OK!

I think people are also missing the point that you don't need to consciously remember something as an adult/older child in order for it to be formative.

This is really basic psychology/neurology, but it suits a lot of people's agendas to deny it.

I've always imagined that babies even those that seem passive and uninterested are taking absolutely everything in, other than eating sleeping and pooping that's their only other job.
