FFS. I’m not buying that these people are very intelligent. Educated, sure. But they are mid-wits, which makes them prime target for manipulation. These are the people that are able to suspend disbelief.

I think they're just bright and well brought up enough to realise that it's not nice to be cruel to people outside the straight, white norm, but not clever enough to realise that they've been played by a gang of perverts. And when it, inevitably, all goes wrong and children are harmed the self same people and parents who were all for the above boundary breaking will be wringing their hands and saying How could this have happened, why was it allowed to happen - it happened because parents whose brains have fallen out like the ones at CabaBabaRave let it happen, they prioritised ADULTS over the best interests of CHILDREN.
