Caba Baba Rave - take your baby to watch nearly naked men in fetish gear

Journalist Dominique Samuels has posted video of one of their events: https://twitter.com/dominiquetaegon/status/1630948003962912768?s=61&t=gd6tu0Iz6JpyKXGLWMLGjg

Which features men gyrating and hanging from the ceiling surrounded by a crowd of clueless women and their babies.

I would say it's NSFW but it's apparently safe for babies so have a watch.

Here's a reddux article:

https://reduxx.info/uk-sold-out-rave-for-babies-featuring-drag-queens-prompts-outrage/

Since the video went viral, the company has taken down its website and Facebook and made their Instagram private. I wonder why? Confused

What a terrible day to have eyes.

There are many comments here I agree with but at the moment all I can think of is "people are paying money for this shit? The chap in the thigh high boots looks like a drunk baby giraffe caught in long stirrups"

slowquickstep · 02/03/2023 21:16

I hope every fucked up parent that takes their child to such an event is investigated by Social services and or the Police. Every parent there is the lowest of the low and i hope they are shunned by all other sensible parents that know them. Would you want one of those near your child ?

HootyMcboob76 · 02/03/2023 21:23

Seriously can't believe people are defending this shit.

Well actually, I'm not surprised.

We've had a thread about a guy dressed as a school girl, taking photos and hanging around outside a children's primary school. People came on to defend the pervert and make excuses for him.

We've had threads about people exposing their penises in spas and swimming pools. We've had people come on to defend them.

There seems to be a gradual decline of social morality. If you are defending this you are part of that problem.

That is all.

Youtubenonsenseaboutslime · 02/03/2023 21:38

Wtf 😞why would you take babies there?! Just why

When people are saying it’s all part of a bigger agenda, what do they mean?

As far as i can see, it's an overtly sexualised performance and it's totally unsuitable for kids!
If the world was turning correctly, the police and social services would be knocking on the doors of all those parents and there would be very loud questions being asked of the performers and the venue/s.
Dennis K's friend clive, i don't know him/his usual attitudes but he was having a hard time on twitter earlier, understanding the safeguarding issues around this. I hope that gives Dennis K. food for thought about his friend and maybe he could educate him a bit.
I'd say to those mothers, if you want to live a child free life, don't have kids and if you can't recognise child safeguarding issues when they're staring you in the face, shouting your name and poking you in the eye, then hand your kids over for adoption - you're not fit!
I have absolutely no doubt, that if this was being arranged and done by a few people on a council estate, social services would have broken their necks to get there to start interfering!

I've gotten into spats with Clive before. He doesn't understand how degrading it is because he loves it, and sees it as gay men's rights to degrade women like this.

It really is astonishing to see what men defend.

Does anyone remember that documentary ‘kidnapped in plain sight’ that came out a few years back, I think it was called? And everyone asked why the fuck the parents couldn’t see the beacon of a red flag factory right before them? Well, these are those parents.

What can we do to get this shut down? So they’ve closed their social media, are they planning any more appearances? Does anyone know?

CryptoFascistMadameCholet · 02/03/2023 21:44

Whenever a FWR interest story hits the news I usually do a Google key word search a few times over a 48 hour period, to see which publications pick it up or if there are any updates…

I have never seen this before:

Fox News (ok, that one happens a lot)
A site that I think is Russian?
A site that calls itself ‘The Arab World’s Current Affairs Magazine’
A site that I’m pretty sure is Brazillian

And a site from the Netherlands.

If the Dutch are calling video footage from your event ‘Bizare’ I reckon it’s a pretty sure thing that you have overstepped even the most liberal of performance-related boundaries.

So much for this thread just being an echo chamber of pearl clutchers, eh?

Must be an awful lot of Sensible Nannaism breaking out!

I mean really think about it - what normal man do you know who would volunteer to put on a thong and PVC boots and perform for children? If none; why? What is it about drag ‘artists’ that is somehow special and enlightened and makes what they do any less creepy and predatory than your neighbour Gary doing it?

Glad the DM have picked it up, here’s hoping one of the… more vocal protest groups around this kind of thing make it untenable. The adults involved in this filth are so deluded I don’t think they can ever be persuaded to see why it’s so red flaggy, so I will settle for it being shut down through less co-operative means 🤷🏼‍♀️

Rightsraptor · 02/03/2023 22:06

Actress Amanda Abbington is in Twitter trouble again (good woman!) and being called 'transphobic' for tweeting her displeasure about this performance.

As she says, where's the transphobia? Who even mentioned trans? Nobody did, but it's transphobic to object to this because ... reasons. (It's in The Telegraph).

CryptoFascistMadameCholet · 02/03/2023 22:09

IS anyone in these pictures trans?

Eroding boundaries so sexual acts around, or even with, children are no longer seen as criminal and predatory but ‘artistic’ and ‘liberating from social norms’.

Moonicorn · 02/03/2023 22:12

I mean that’s the end goal isn’t it? Legalised paedophilia, under the name of ‘enlightenment’ and ‘encouraging children to explore themselves’. It’s fucking disgusting and these men (don’t care how they ‘identify’) need their hard drives checking and a restraining order preventing them from being around children.

Again what normal man do you know that would do this?

If none, why? What would they say if you asked them? If something walks like a pervert and quacks like a pervert, it’s probably a pervert.

Yep! Totally. And yet someone comes on here earlier and calls us utter wankers for having a problem with this shit!

You can be a fan of those things as an artform and still understand it's inappropriate and unsuitable for babies and children.

I love rock and metal as an artform but I wouldn't take a baby to see Iron Maiden.

I enjoy having sex with DH, we don’t let the kids watch

IcakethereforeIam · 02/03/2023 22:21

I've not read the full thread so apologies if this has already been posited, can you imagine the AIBU?

My husband took our DD1 to a strip bar. He said they were running an event especially for children, the dancers kept their g-string on and their nipples covered. Even so, AIBU for thinking this stuff is unsuitable for a baby?

The alphabet would likely run out of Ls, Ts and Bs.

AbsoluteYawns · 02/03/2023 22:22

RichardBarrister · 02/03/2023 11:08

Do you think that if we see an obvious child safeguarding fail, we should all just turn a blind eye?

Just because a group of Very Cool Mummies (good term @CryptoFascistMadameCholet ) have decided it is ok for their babies to be exposed to adult nudity, stripping and sexualised performances doesn’t mean we can’t criticise them and this organisation and explain why they’ve got it so wrong.

Just where are they planning on drawing the line of what is acceptable for their babies to be exposed to? If you can persuade parents that it is ok to take their children to obviously adult events, what else can you persuade them to allow their children to do? And who with?

Dear Lord,
The logical outcome from this blurring of boundaries makes me feel physically ill.
WTAF are the parents thinking!

Exactly.

Although if the husband slipped in something about the LGBTQ+ community, who knows that seems to be the get out of jail free card.

I know someone whose toddler was sexually abused by a man in a position of trust. The same man abused several other toddlers and perhaps others who were never discovered. The toddlers he abused were scared of him and what he was doing, but while they felt that what he was doing was wrong, they didn't know that it was wrong, and this confusion was what allowed him to get away with his crimes for years before any child spoke out. Children, especially very young children, can be very confused about adults and their behaviour, which is why they need boundaries and absolute clarity about what adults should and shouldn't do.

Children of this age are not going to become more accepting of gay people by attending a show like this (even if their minds were ready for these concepts, surely this show would give them a very regressive view of women and gay men) but they are going to become less able to recognise inappropriate adult sexual behaviour. I cannot believe none of those parents thought, 'No, this is not what I was expecting. I'm walking out.'. I guess no-one wanted to seem judgemental and uncool.

Moonicorn · 02/03/2023 22:25

It wouldn’t work in reverse because men aren’t taught to #bekind like women are. They can’t be as easily led into something like this to ‘validate’ other people or make them feel ‘accepted and included’. Men couldn’t give a fuck about appearing ‘tolerant’ because they’re not primed since birth to put somebody else’s feelings before their own. Any man I know would say this is creepy as fuck - there’s a reason these shows aren’t put on for dads. Nobody would turn up.

...and the NSPCC still maintains that CSA is something that makes a child 'feel bad'.

Truly one of the most grotesque ideas imaginable.

Exactly this! Children rely on adults to set appropriate boundaries as they are not able to do that for themselves.

The young girl sent to live with a convicted paedophile as a foster parent and was then abused regularly until he made her pregnant didn’t realise that his behaviour was completely abnormal because being so young she had no other frame of reference.

If the parents are not protecting their children from adult sexualised behaviour then who is?

If you don't already I strongly advise everyone follow Adam Whittington on Instagram or his company Project Rescue Children.

He posted today about this monstrous company who are getting kicks out of performing to babies.

He raises huge awareness of how we can protect our children. Strongly advise you check his work out.
