Caba Baba Rave - take your baby to watch nearly naked men in fetish gear

Journalist Dominique Samuels has posted video of one of their events: https://twitter.com/dominiquetaegon/status/1630948003962912768?s=61&t=gd6tu0Iz6JpyKXGLWMLGjg

Which features men gyrating and hanging from the ceiling surrounded by a crowd of clueless women and their babies.

I would say it's NSFW but it's apparently safe for babies so have a watch.

Here's a reddux article:

https://reduxx.info/uk-sold-out-rave-for-babies-featuring-drag-queens-prompts-outrage/

Since the video went viral, the company has taken down its website and Facebook and made their Instagram private. I wonder why? Confused

The 'it's only for little babies. They don't even know what they're looking at" argument is bobbins anyway. So everyone there has just the one baby? No one attends with other young kids? Are siblings banned? Sorry you cannot attend this under 1s event with yr 5 and 3 yo in tow. It isn't appropriate for them as they might clock it's a tad risque..

Yes, I've already said that.

But it is fake.

And it is worth reflecting on why it has to be faked and why some people have been so easily hoodwinked.

crikey

just when you think you've had all the lunacy, a further load is delivered.

so this went:

it's fake

it's fake, you're all gullible idiots

whoops, I've got a cake to ice

lechiffre55 · 02/03/2023 19:18

How does a brain both say that it would be bad if it's real, and then refuse to believe that it's real because it would be bad. And on top of that tell people to think critically?
It must be very difficult to go through life with a head that twisted up. Nothing would make sense.

RufustheSpeculatingreindeer · 02/03/2023 19:19

My MIL always enjoyed seeing the photos of the children on their days out 🤔

i do not think she’d be so chuffed with these photos

Faceplant66 · 02/03/2023 19:21

I think condoning something as abusive as this - as the scummy mummies are- their platform needs to be removed. They are essentially saying the rights of drag performers to subject children to inappropriate content trumps the right of kids to be protected. Kids don’t get a choice - they rely on us to safeguard them. It’s clearly abusive. I’m hoping the police get involved. This is woke bu11hi1t at it’s finest.

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 02/03/2023 19:23

err, are you sure? who's going to remove their platform and how? are the police going to take their computers away? what happens when someone wants to take your platform away?

no, anyone should be free to say any damn stupid thing they like

and anyone else should be free to point out how fucking stupid it is

Faceplant66 · 02/03/2023 19:25

But apparently pointing out you are essentially condoning child safeguarding breach makes you a fascist? I hope they lose a fuck ton of followers. I certainly unfollowed on Saturday. Idiots.

Faceplant66 · 02/03/2023 19:26

(Re the police - I meant I hope that they look at the organisers of the cabaret event not the scummy mummies).

If you can't tell that the audience is from a different photo to the performer, I don't know what to tell you.

The background has been blurred by the Mail for the privacy of the kids.

It’s deffo not photoshop. The video is on Twitter.

This thread is mental. The 10 second 1 clip of the barely clad man trussed up in BDSM gear swinging from the ceiling

A) only meant for and a ok for babies
B) not sexual (no, nothing sexual at all, no sireeee Bob)
C) FAKE NEWS

The cognitive dissonance seems to be taking its toal on the critical thinking side of things.

You’ve hit the nail on the head. What planet are people on 🤦‍♀️

tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz · 02/03/2023 19:40

The mind boggles that so many people cannot see a problem with mums sitting their babies down to watch adults prance around and gyrate half naked. Who then engage with their babies.

This is not the same as drag. It really isn't

EpicChaos · 02/03/2023 19:41

As far as i can see, it's an overtly sexualised performance and it's totally unsuitable for kids!
If the world was turning correctly, the police and social services would be knocking on the doors of all those parents and there would be very loud questions being asked of the performers and the venue/s.
Dennis K's friend clive, i don't know him/his usual attitudes but he was having a hard time on twitter earlier, understanding the safeguarding issues around this. I hope that gives Dennis K. food for thought about his friend and maybe he could educate him a bit.
I'd say to those mothers, if you want to live a child free life, don't have kids and if you can't recognise child safeguarding issues when they're staring you in the face, shouting your name and poking you in the eye, then hand your kids over for adoption - you're not fit!
I have absolutely no doubt, that if this was being arranged and done by a few people on a council estate, social services would have broken their necks to get there to start interfering!

KatMcBundleFace · 02/03/2023 19:50

Not Like Other Mums proper cracked me up.

Patti said a younger woman had called Patti’s 2nd wavism ‘Nanna Feminism’ recently…

I’m not a grandma yet but I’m more than ready to embrace Sensible Nannaism.

Omg, is that what that poster was seeing? The blurring out of the kids' faces which made them assumed it was fake?

ArabellaScott · 02/03/2023 19:59

Stills from one of the caba baba rave 'reels'.

Murraydeservedit · 02/03/2023 20:01

Christ almighty. How anyone could think that was a fabulous way to spend an afternoon with a baby needs their head testing.

I don’t care who I offend, if you think that’s okay, there is something very wrong with you.

Maybe try soft play sometime and do what ever the hell you want while your kids are in bed.

That’s my generous interpretation of this spectacularly incorrect comment, yes:

110APiccadilly · 02/03/2023 20:10

I might have detailed things slightly with the comment about the cinema, sorry. Just thought it was interesting that the very thing they'd used as a gotcha, really isn't!

Anyway, I've got a two year old, and she still talks about our visit to the zoo, which took place some time ago, when she was about 18 months. So if the idea is that the babies are oblivious, firstly that's still creepy, and secondly under 2 isn't anything like a narrow enough age range. Under six months, and you might have an argument.

Backstreets · 02/03/2023 20:11

I assumed it was because of the stunted legs, the black heels blend in with the boots and makes it look awkward. Obviously real when you watch the vid, and if it's fake can the editor do a clip of me and Brendan Frasier in The Mummy next ta x

I have memories from when I was 18 months old.

EpicChaos · 02/03/2023 20:20

LOLz @KatMcBundleFace

That's about the measure of it!

You have to feel sorry for all those poor working class kids, that have to put up with a visit to their nearest Wacky Warehouse for fun, games and entertainment. How deprived they must be, to not be subjected to the enlightened performances that those lucky middle class kids get to see! :-/ smh!
How many of those kids, will be labelled as trans in the next 18 months or so?!
