I can't see a thread on this, but she is starting a new party and will run in elections.

Lead me to it. Please God can we have someone sane in charge.

TheHarpySings · 07/12/2022 13:50

Hahahah fuck you WEP!

Thelnebriati · 07/12/2022 13:59

This made my day Xmas Grin

SerotinaPickeler · 07/12/2022 14:07

Let Women Speak, Let Women Peak. Perfect 🥰

ShowerOfShite · 07/12/2022 14:10

Excellent news

MrsOvertonsWindow · 07/12/2022 14:16

Genius move. Let's force all the misogyny out into the open.
If you want to remove the sex class of women, you ask women first!

BoreOfWhabylon · 07/12/2022 14:25

Go Posie! Xmas Grin

bellinisurge · 07/12/2022 14:28

Good job. She sticks her neck out where others wring their hands. I'm sure I'll disagree on some things but this is better than every single other party on the key issue. Because if they lie about what is a man/woman and ask me to suspend belief in reality, what else are they lying about?

vivariumvivariumsvivaria · 07/12/2022 14:28

<throws my vote at Posie>

Whereareyourshoes · 07/12/2022 14:30

Looking forward to hearing her campaigning.

bellinisurge · 07/12/2022 14:32

Dare them to shut down that conversation. She's unlikely to win a seat but she will make sure that there is no more squirming out of the conversation

drspouse · 07/12/2022 15:00

I wouldn't vote for her, but it would be great to hear KS actually answer the question.

This is going to be the other view point sides worst nightmare

ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Lovely.

MrsTerryPratchett · 07/12/2022 15:14

I wonder about where the votes will come from. I know a fair few soft Tories, who like cream teas and stately homes, if you know what I mean. Not Brexity or racist. But they are very firm about women being women. And not happy with the current Tories.

There might be votes there for her.

SixCharactersinSearchofanAuthor · 07/12/2022 15:33

Keir did say Ask Her To Stand... I suspect KJK wasn't the "her" he meant us to ask but then our sort never are!

BezMills · 07/12/2022 16:46

Go PosieParker!

There will be quite some backlash if she stands against SirKier but she has DILIGAF for days.

Legend move, respect

beastlyslumber · 07/12/2022 18:36

I can't think of anything more perfect, either! Fantastic!

Why not ?

LindorDoubleChoc · 07/12/2022 18:54

Oh dear.

I'd like to be proved right and she gets a decent amount of support.

LindorDoubleChoc · 07/12/2022 18:56

Proved WRONG I mean!!

SafariRushHour · 07/12/2022 19:17

Great news!

Same. I think. For me this is not THE most important issue (I'm more interested in building a fairer and stronger economy, workers' rights, properly funding public services), but I really want someone to prod the Labour Party back to reality and away from pandering to luxury beliefs on twitter.

That said... I live in a very safe labour seat, and the incumbent (male) MP has dismissed us as a bunch of transphobic dinosaurs. So I could certainly be in the market for a protest vote. I've protest-voted Green before but for obvious reasons that's not an option just now.

I'm not a huge fan of KJK in general but she has some clever moves and this might be one of them. Here's hoping.

Ringneck · 07/12/2022 19:27

I highly doubt she'll get anywhere. As was proved in the last election (with MRAs), an online following doesn't really translate to the ballot box.
