I can't see a thread on this, but she is starting a new party and will run in elections.

i do t think she’s trying to win. Her son is to get politicians to talk about this issue.

So pleased she doing it and can’t wait to see those billboards. Will she need money?

Keir did say Ask Her To Stand... I suspect KJK wasn't the "her" he meant us to ask but then our sort never are!

Looking forward to the shrieks and howls of the unwashed bearderati! 🧔

Because if they lie about what is a man/woman and ask me to suspend belief in reality, what else are they lying about? And if they're THIS afraid of a bunch of incels whacking the keyboards in their mums' basements, how on earth are they going to deal with Putin or Xi?

crumpet · 07/12/2022 19:45

I doubt she seriously wants to be an MP. But this could be an excellent move, to force the discussion into the open. It will show up the shilly shallying of other contenders

pursuedbyablackdog · 07/12/2022 19:49

I'd vote for her

Davros · 07/12/2022 19:50

I'd vote for her too and Sir KS is my MP

LangClegsInSpace · 07/12/2022 19:57

Go KJK!

Being a registered political party gives you certain legal rights and privileges. This is not about winning seats, it's about having a place on the hustings so other candidates cannot escape debate on this issue, having an advertising budget, generating publicity etc.

I've seen this done before in a very small way on an extremely niche issue:

This is not a niche issue though. By the next GE, there could be Other Party candidates fielded in constituencies across the country.

Motorina · 07/12/2022 20:30

I'm in a safe tory seat and I would 100% vote for an Other Party candidate. Chuffed to bits about this.

PomegranateOfPersephone · 07/12/2022 20:30

I shall be very excited if there is an other party candidate standing in my constituency and yes I will vote for her.

NotRightNowNo · 07/12/2022 20:53

This is brave and inspired. Let's get it properly on the agenda. Go KJK!

Ofcourseshecan · 07/12/2022 21:02

bellinisurge · 07/12/2022 14:28

Good job. She sticks her neck out where others wring their hands. I'm sure I'll disagree on some things but this is better than every single other party on the key issue. Because if they lie about what is a man/woman and ask me to suspend belief in reality, what else are they lying about?

This is exactly it.

If you tell me you don’t know what a woman is, excuse me for not believing you when you tell me you know how to mend the economy!

maranella · 07/12/2022 21:04

She can have my vote, with pleasure!

Ofcourseshecan · 07/12/2022 21:05

Davros · 07/12/2022 19:50

I'd vote for her too and Sir KS is my MP

Wheee! I want to see him face that.

Ndd135632 · 07/12/2022 21:23

Oh I had no party to vote for and now I do! We have the vote ladies and now we gonna truly use it 100 years later.

Boiledbeetle · 07/12/2022 22:04

Ringneck · 07/12/2022 19:27

I highly doubt she'll get anywhere. As was proved in the last election (with MRAs), an online following doesn't really translate to the ballot box.

Obviously she's not going to oust KS from his seat, although I really would like to see that happen, but just by being able to force KS to have conversations that have been shut down via a lot of other routes she will have brought more sunlight to the whole issue and will force KS to actually have to be absolutely plain about where he stands on woman = adult human female. He will have nowhere to hide.

It's really not about getting the votes at the ballot box. That would just be an added bonus!

This is going to be educational for many people who aren't aware of how far this shitshow has gone down a rabbit hole

endofthelinefinally · 07/12/2022 23:32

The point is to force the conversation to be had in public, in the media. It is about time this whole topic was opened up so everyone can participate. I think it is a very clever idea.

Toseland · 07/12/2022 23:44

Great idea, other women should stand in their constituencies under her party too.

Scarfymcscarface · 08/12/2022 00:29

You have my vote! Well done that woman Star

AutumnCrow · 08/12/2022 00:43

I think it is still £500 deposit per constituency and you get all the privileges of being an official candidate.

If you gain 5% or more of the vote your deposit is returned.

LangClegsInSpace · 08/12/2022 00:44

Bargain.

BoreOfWhabylon · 08/12/2022 00:55

I'd love to see one of the Scottish terven stand against Wee Nicola.

Janie143 · 08/12/2022 06:04

BoreOfWhabylon · 08/12/2022 00:55

I'd love to see one of the Scottish terven stand against Wee Nicola.

That would be fabulous.

Feckedupbundle · 08/12/2022 08:01

KJK is a genius. I would definitely vote for the Other party if a woman stood for them in my constituency.
I'm in a safe Conservative seat, but my MP is a full up Rainbow washed, mermaids loving hand maiden.

TeenDivided · 08/12/2022 08:10

I'd vote too. My constituency is a marginal Tory / Lib Dem, but the sitting female Tory MP has been in a position of influence and has come out on the 'be kind' side.
Given I've been wondering who on earth to vote for an Other Party candidate would be ideal.

Ndd135632 · 08/12/2022 08:22

Can these MPs not see the way the tide is turning ? Women are getting more and more angry with this nonsense.
