I was just thinking that the GC analysis is the only one that can explain the behaviour of police forces up and down the country.

The liberal position is “It’s awful that the police are institutionally racist and misogynist, but it’s great that they stand up for LGBTQ+ people!”

No. The promotion of trans ideology is part of the misogyny.

No - I'm saying get rid of them all. All of them should be gotten rid of.
Misogynistic whats app groups, lie in interviews, harassing people - regardless of who you are - should be gotten rid of.

We should not have any rainbow cars, pin badges, poppies, charity badges, Christmas decorations in offices etc

Update from KJK where she speaks to rhe same police officer again. They have confirmed that it's related to "a hate crime related to sexual orientation.

Derek

Can't see the issue in how that was handled - an allegation has been made - it needs further investigation to establish the facts - you can only do that by talking to people. The officer was polite , told her what the allegation was , invited for pace 9 . Doesn't mean guilty . Doesn't mean innocent. Means someone has reported something- true or false - could be either - needs facts establishing to either prove or disprove .

Just cos we believe k - support her - doesn't mean it shouldn't be looked into .

If it's the same person maki g repeated allegations then a counter allegation could be raised .

Part of the police code of ethics is honesty and integrity. That's at the heart of everything we do . Or should be .

That's where you get it wrong. Police is just another bureaucracy so their real aims are only vaguely related to their declared aims. They get promotion by doing as told / making the police look good, no matter how much what they do is any real good or not. And those on top are more concerned about pleasing politicians or whichever pressure group happens to be the more strident at the time than anything else. Call it whatever you want, but most of the time they will prefer to go after easy targets, especially if they can get some Brownie points in the process.
So... you got mugged in front of CCTV cameras? No time to go through CCTV footage, you are really silly to expect that!
A car thief threatening to kill you because you have the audacity to stop him the act? Police don't want to even register the report, let alone do any investigation.
You don't want to go along someone's delusions? That suddenly MUST be investigated, no matter what. Even a good pretext for harassing someone by abusive home search.
If anyone had told me 10-20 years ago it would come to this, I would have dismissed it as improbable.
Many individuals in it are decent people, but the the whole institution is looong overdue for some very serious shake-up.

@JanesLittleGirl this is a bit of a zombie thread, it confused me too. Give Felix this, he's consistent.
